The Ravelli APLT3 is a very light tripod that extends to a stable height of 53". With aluminum legs, a durable molded plastic head, and weighing just over 1 lb, this tripod will never weigh you down. The legs have 3 extendable segments for different heights and rubber feet for stability on a variety of surfaces. The APLT3 also has the ability to change camera orientation from portrait to landscape, and a center column that extends for easy movement and adjustment.

Perfect product for starters
72” tripod - I love it!I had originally bought the 53” i believe, it is much more fragil and feeble. However, the seller reached out to me and sent me the 72” which turned out to be amazing for my needs. It is a little more costly, but it is sturdy and the moving pieces on it are so much easier to deal with. Also, i’m 5’10” tall, and this is the perfect size for vlogging!Original review on 53”“It feels like it will break, but it does say so on the letter it came with. I guess it makes up for the cheap price. It seems to do the job, however, it is weird and my camera has a hard time fitting on the mount, because of the second buttom on the for support! I had to tape it down to get it in. I doubt anyone thought of that...”

Smartphone mount did not meet expectations
I teach animation and video and was looking for an affordable tripod for my high school students to use when shooting with their phones. The main reason I bought this particular tripod was because it came with a smartphone mount, so I did not need to buy one separately. Other smartphone mounts I have bought use a screw to expand or contract in size to hold different sized phones, and these have worked really well. The one that comes with this tripod is spring loaded and takes a lot of effort to pry open - but feels like if you pull too hard it will break. Once your phone is gripped in the holder, it does not seem secure. I'm not expecting these to last super long in my classroom. The tripod itself seemed okay, maybe a little flimsy.

Sucks..
This product is poorly made. It's very light weight but that the only good thing. Was getting ready to do a video and when I tightened the height know it cracked and split the knob came out of the socket. It is just a couple of days after the return date so I guess I'm stuck with it.

Comes in taller sizes
As I mentioned in the headline it doe's come in taller sizes, but I found that the much cheaper 53" tripod is good for my needs. it is built from lightweight aluminum but remains pretty sturdy. I can recommend this product with no hesitation.

Broke after a few use
I liked that it’s very light weight and sturdy for its price point. However, after a very few light use, one of the part broke (handle that tightens the head). Can’t use it anymore as the head can’t be adjusted forward and backward anymore. Disappointing as I initially liked it :( not sure how I can get in contact with the manufacturer to hopefully fix it?
