Steel case for HiFiBerry DAC+, silver cover

I can't believe that this case is sold with no instructions or even a website link on the box! At first glance you would think there isn't enough fixings. Rather than try assembling by trial and error, a google search pointed me to the Hifiberry website and instructions on how to assemble. As stated in other reviews, you are trying to assemble the two halves blind hoping the header pins on the Raspberry Pi will align the the hat. Luckily, after 3 attempts it eventually clicked into place with no apparent damage. The case looks good when fully assembled and will also help dissipate heat however for the price it is very poorly designed. By the way, don't bother with the supplied allen key, it's crap!

I'm glad I read the other reviews before attempting to assemble the unit.It was a pleasant puzzle to assemble it and I am very pleased with the result.A word to the wise - make sure that all the pins on the Raspberry pi are perfectly straight before attempting to mate the Pi and the DCA - it's a somewhat nerve-wracking experience because you are working almost blind.
