Pros1) The handle attaches quickly and once it's on, it doesn't move at all2) Makes low-down shots much easier to achieve than using the "underslung mode" as you can just let it hang in your hand rather than needing to grip it vertically - very handy for me as my Canon 1DX Mark II is pretty heavy!3) Lots of screw holes for attaching monitors, microphones etc and a hot shoe (?)4) The attachment comes in two parts so its footprint in a camera bag is very small and can fit almost anywhere5) Very study constructionCons1) The metal handle got very cold whilst using it out in the Scotland for multiple sunrise shoots. I'd recommend buying a tennis racket grip for the handle2) I've found that there are some angles where one of the Ronin S' arms will touch the handle, but this is mainly whilst holding the gimbal horizontal to the groundSummaryWould highly recommend this handle to any Ronin S user looking for a more stable two-handled option for their gimbal.

very useful and adaptable bit of kit, makes manoeuvring the Ronin so much easier and even just for walking around it's a much more convenient day to hold your gimbal/camera set up. I have rigged a neat/shoulder strap onto it and it's a great way of taking the weight off your arms. plenty mounting points for other bits of kit, i run a 5" monitor off it and it works great. Fits the Ronin S perfectly.

A good bit of kit, sturdy and attaches to the ronin-S firmly.My only 2 issues. It would be nice if the L shape had some sort of fold in the middle for a smaller transportation footprint. And just watch for your knuckles hitting the rear motor if you are using the ronin with larger cameras.I run an FS5 which sees the yaw axis very far back (resulting in there being not much clearance between the rear motor and this handle). If you run a smaller camera then this shouldn't be an issue.

Gives greater control over the gimbal. Transitioning and maintaining low level shots a lot easier with this handle.

Sturdy and practical. Gives me a better grip as I have a Nikon D810 and a 28-300mm lens on the Gimbal which is quite a lot of weight. Also handy for attaching a shotgun microphobe etc. Could do with some insulation on the handle as the metal gets cold.

Maniglia ottima e solida, restituita perchè, purtroppo, il ronin S si è rivelato essere al di sotto delle mie aspettative. Se vi trovate bene con il ronin questa maniglia è veramente comoda e versatile.

Cuidado, lo compré porque leí que funcionaba bien en el Zhiyun Crane 2 pero no va porque queda suelto. La circunferencia es más grande que la del gimbal.

Un accessoire de haute qualité et indispensable au Ronin S (permet de faire des images au niveau du sol sans avoir mal au dos). Je recommande.

Ottima per realizzare certe inquadrature senza sforzare i polsi.Peccato che:1) non sia ricoperta in gomma per un maggior grip;2) non permetta di agganciarci una cinghia di sicurezza. Dato che sfrutta lo stesso attacco, perlomeno potevano pensare di piazzarci due anelli ai lati. 😐
