Makes eyeshadow bolder
Now it's not black black on your eyelids, at least I don't put it on thick enough to be dark. Even with a single coat, it makes eyeshadow more vibrate and last longer. I use this with all my eyeshadows now, light and dark colors. I love it so much I bought some for a makeup-loving friend who was skeptical.

BEST black primer
im very fair skinned and black always looks gray on me so i looked into a black primer. this is PERFECT given i do just put more black over it. simmers look amazing over it too. but also it sticks like a mf. other primers i’ve used like slip off but not this one.

No safety seals
Product arrived with only a cardboard sheath around it, and no seals. At least that's no visible fingerprints in the makeup itself, but it's a little sus.

Use a thin layer
I needed a black primer, after 10+ years of using eyeliner as a primer it was time. You definitely want to use a thin layer of this product and blend it out right away before you pack the color on top (I like to use it under blues and purples to make the colors pop as well) I've found that if I use too much of the primer it still creases pretty heavily, but I have hooded eyes and oily skin so no matter what I'm going to see some break down of the products I use in that crease. That being said, it's very pigmented and with a thinner layer my eye shadow tends to stay put- and I work in a factory where I'm sweating and touching my eyes pretty frequently. Working in layers might even get you more color payoff. The primer doesn't feel oily or slick on the lids and you have a decent amount of time to blend and pack in color before it dries down completely, like I said just be sure to blend it before it dries so you don't get that shelf of pigment in funny spots. As far as the amount of product, I'm super happy. You don't need much and it looks like this little pan is going to last me quite a while (black and dark colors are a daily wear for me) liquid primers tend to feel wet for far too long and get used up pretty quickly so I'm happy with this product and I think the price is fair. I had trouble finding any sort of black primer on beauty retailer websites so I was happy to find a good quality one here on Amazon.

Very opaque
Really nice formula. Very solid black and opaque. Dinners glide on easily overtop!

Good tone Eyeshadow base for Light Complexions
Wow. I was just thinking about this product and forgot completely that I purchased it here. I am surprised I tried it because it was a bit of a whim because I have not found many cream eyeshadow primers to be fair enough and the right consistency. This works really well for fair to medium skin that is on the lighter side of you want to get the benefit of concealing discoloration as well as priming. Otherwise, just as a base, I think it would work for any skin tone.I like it a lot because it doesn’t cake up, and allows for smoother application of pigments. It allows for the shadows to last longer. Also, it covers a bit of discoloration.

Doesn't work well
It was a good idea but it just kind of smears around the eyelid and it's difficult to blend out the edges.

Not great
Not great. Eye makeup creases by lunchtime. Back to trying other ones on my never ending search…
