Rustic Dimensional Barn Star - 36" Country Farmhouse Home Decoration

The star was very difficult to put together. It took me awhile to do so.

Assembly is definitely required. Some patience is also required. The screws are visible from the front of the star, and the screws that came with our bronze star were silver so they didn't match. We ended up painting ours so it didn't matter.

The star looks great and was inexpensive versus other options. Sturdy, and all of the hardware is finished to match the patina of the star. The hardware is invisible from any distance, and up close looks nice.Assembly is required and is easy - however it would help those of us with older eyes if the instructions were printed on a full sized sheet of paper. I had to take a picture of one of the diagrams with my phone and then zoom in to see which screws to insert first. If you don't want to do that, you are supposed to install the screws and nuts in the holes closest to the center of the star and closest to the points, leaving the middle screws open to add a brace once the other parts are all attached. Remember to make sure the "flaps" (on one side of each point) are on the back when you screw the pieces together. Those instructions are all provided, but again, in small print. Also as a tip, when you put the star together, don't completely tighten any screws until all are installed "finger tight" as you may have to do some very minor flexing to get all of the holes aligned. Once all the screws are in you can easily go back and tighten them all down.My package had one extra screw and nut, which was good because one of the other screws had so much finish applied that you couldn't fit a screwdriver in the Phillips (+) head. If an extra screw wasn't provided, I would have used that screw and made it as tight as I could of by hand, and I suspect it wouldn't have mattered much in terms of strength, but it was nice to have an extra to use in its place.

Although this product works for our needs, it was not in great shape when we opened it. The inner part of the points that form the middle of the star had bent areas on every piece and the red tips that came on the points had to had excess trimmed to look decent

Put this above our garage at our cabin. I gel stained it and added a urethane coating to seal it. We will see how it holds up to Wisconsin winters. I love how it turned out. Nice size. Well built. Holds together with screws.

I was very surprised to get a brown star in the mail! It looked red online, but after reading the description it DOES list the color as bronze.Love the size, easy to assemble. I painted mine red very easily with spray paint to match my decor!Packaged well and came in about 6 days, not bad for free shipping.

I spray painted over half the star. The original color looks good and the spray paint is holding just fine. It's been mostly hot outside, but has rained a few days, too. so far so good.assembly was easy enough.

Very happy with purchase

This was easy to put together but scratches way too easy. I was very careful but it still didn't hold up to being put together. Need much better paint job or just better paint in the product.
