Unisex Shearling Sheepskin Trooper Russian Ushanka Winter Fur Hat

I am very glad I selected this hat from the many available on Amazon. The sheepskin shows no blemishes, the stitching is strong and even, the color is as represented and the fit (XL) is spot on.This is sheepskin with the natural wool serving as the lining. I know it to be warm and durable. I would not have purchased anything made with rabbit fur (not durable) or 'faux' fur (faux is Chinese for kitten).The flaps can be fastened together by sheepskin straps with three snaps to allow adjustment. If fastened behind the hat as shown in the pictures, they keep the back of your neck covered. They can also be fastened on top, covering the sides of the hat. Because the top of the hat is made from a single round piece, like the top of a tin can, it doesn't look like the Elmer Fudd hats even when the flaps are up. Obviously, it can be worn with the ear flaps down - that's why I bought it. It just hasn't been cold since I got it,

Take a look at various models or versions from this brand of trapper, bomber, fudd hats. This one, the top of the top is a solid panel, no seams. I honestly wore this at -35F to -40F and is was great. The XL in this style was bigger than L/XL in another by same brand. This larger size allowed room for a thin baklava. I couldn't find this version discounted and wondered if I'd made a mistake ordering at full price. No, I am thrilled with it. Sherling is dang warm. At zero F I'd find this too warm, or so it seemed. I folder the flaps back covering ears fully then snapped behind the ears. Hell of a hat. Perfect for very cold dry conditions.

I am one of those guys with such a huge melon nothing ever fits. This XXL fits. But enough about size. I love this hat. Exceptional quality. Toasty warm. This will be my hat for when it's really really cold. and I'm out for a walk or shoveling snow, or plowing with my 4 wheeler. It's not easy to buy hats online when you can't try them on and see how they "really" look on you and how they fit. But I scored on this one, and it will be a keeper for years to come.

This is an awesome hat ! Very well made and very very cute. My husband has one but it’s a large and when i tried to wear it it was just too big. Finally decided to buy my own . so very happy i did . I ordered the small and it fits PERFECT. i have had many compliments . A very fair price for a very well made and good looking hat! ! it shipped from Istanbul Turkey and was delivered to California in a matter of days ! I’m so pleased with this purchase !

The outer part of this hat is genuine sheepskin. It's very soft, yet strong. The leather is similiar to suede, so you might want to do some research to see if you should condition it or not. It also has thick, super-warm genuine shearling fur inside. I have no doubt it will keep you toasty in the coldest winters. I really didn't expect it to be this nice, but it really is. The craftsmanship is exceptional. No one will be disappointed with this hat. The size runs true. I measured my head and ordered according to the chart and the fit is dead on.

My hat arrived today, three days earlier than expected. The quality is excellent! I ordered the color cashmere and it’s beautiful. The chin/ear muffs snap looks very sturdy. I have a large head and after reading the reviews, decided to get the XXL. It has just a bit of play at the brim, not too tight. I’m very happy with my purchase.

For thus price you get a real leather and shearing hat the only thing I don’t like is it’s design of the flaps which can not cover your cheek when you need it’s protection I bought six of them all the same also this mass production product I got one with defect need to be returned I hope they need to look into the design problem

I got this for a winter trip to Europe. It fit the bill perfectly. It was warm -- maybe a little too warm for daytime in Amsterdam. It stood up well to the elements and since it was way cheaper than my muskrat uskanka, I didn't feel bad about subjecting it to those elements. It's a good value and I'm glad I got it.

I bough the black Fur hat and it's very impressive. It has real sheepskin it's very soft and extremely warm and fits perfect XL. I wore this hat ice fishing in Quebec at -30°C for 5 hours and I was OK. I wear it on very cold days (15°C -35°C) s and it will keep your head toasty warm. Throw on some dark shades and you'll turn some heads, you'll look good and be warm

Great hat and good quality. Received within 5 days. The fur color is slightly different looking a bit more like very light beige. Made in Turkey. All confirmed natural sheep fur/skin. Very warm! It was -3 today and it was a bit too warm in it. Would recommend to everyone including my closest family and friends. I am medium built and a large size hat was perfect. Don't risk getting a small size.

I'm liking my new hat! I've had it one day so maybe I'll do an update in a month or so. I have a generous sized skull and the extra large size feels perfect for me. Warm at -15 but I'm sure when it gets colder it will be just as warm. Covers my forehead nicely!

Seems to be well made. Good quality material. The only thing its the ear flap not laying down nice.
