These are good and work well so long as you only cover cold food and are not taking them anywhere. I do not agree they would be good for picnic having lost one of my favourite ceramic dishes (from a now incomplete set) because the lid slipped and the whole thing dropped to the floor.They don't manage to cling well when the food still had some heat and the lid holds the wet, so when you next handle it the lid slips around a bit and hence my accident. Haven't tried in the microwave, Im just not keen on any plasticy stuff near the heating up process.Otherwise they are good but make sure the sides of the item you are covering are clean and not wet.

Yes! Cheap as you like but they look great and fit round most things. We'd got rid of cling film ages ago on our plastic free mission but were still holding onto tin foil for wrapping fruit and veg. I think that could probably go too! Only thing not so good is rectangular tins, maybe I just needed to go a size down for a better stretch. Will update you on that.Edit, am knocking this down a few stars as I've had a few rip and also actually they aren't suitable for everything. Still use them for bowls and stuff though.

Good

These are both good and bad. Easy to use on a dry bowl. When you take a bowl from the fridge the heat of the kitchen against the cool bowl causes condensation which makes it difficult to stretch the silicone over as it keeps slipping off. (Not good when it’s a bowl of soup!) as a cover to keep insects etc off they’re good.

I found then hard to put on at first but once I knew the right way they were great very versatile

I got these some time ago and there are great. I am always looking for a lid. When my daughter saw them she insisted that i get her some also. She loves them. They were delivered in no time. I would certainly recommend buying them.

It's a good idea but the lids broke while trying to stretch over a jar.
