I’m not sure this recommendation can even serve it justice.22 days ago I went on a date and promptly lost my iPhone X when the lanyard came unsnapped trying to save my dog Hank from what I'm told were unusually deep and swift waters at Waterloo. Now! I’ve had this for quite some time and have been rough on it in the past so the lanyard breaking likely wasn’t a flaw in design so much as me carelessly not checking the snap good enough. I played it way cooler than I had any right to as we hiked back up Spring Creek in the dark but I went back out the next day with a metal detector in hopes of recovering it. No luck. It seemed the cause was lost.YESTERDAY, however, I got a call from an absolute, probably literal angel named Olivia who saw the lanyard tangled in the rocks and decided to investigate. What she thought might be a bracelet was my iPhone, the free grace pocket a little worse for the wear but the phone and case in perfect working order.This bears repeating I think: My iPhone has been lost and completely submerged under water for nearly a month and it is completely intact and perfectly functional thanks to this waterproof sleeve.If that’s not security, I don’t know what is.

This waterproof bag is incredibly helpful if you are ever near water and want to keep your personal items dry! I have used it Kayaking several times in the Salt River and have never had a drop of water on my cell phone or other items in the bag. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.Update - I have Kayaked the river, lake, floated, smashed, thrown, and put this through the test and its amazing. It always keeps me items dry and works just as advertised. I plan to get more.

This bag worked perfectly! Everything inside stayed perfectly dry! I purchased the 10L size and it held 2 towels, 2 bottles of sunscreen, wallets, car keys, a hat, and the first aid kit and we still had plenty of room! Also, this size fit perfectly on the front of my kayak!The cell phone pouch that was included also worked like a dream! I completely submerged it and my phone was perfectly dry and unharmed! Also, I was able to have full function of my touchscreen and camera while in the pouch!Overall, great buy! I will definitely purchase again!

Update I've had two of these bags 10l and the 35/50l for over a year and they are still by far the best bags I've ever bought. They have made it through several kayak trips plus the canoe trip below last year and 3 so far this year. The zip lock takes a bit of practice to get right and you do need to be careful you close it all the way to the ends. This is the only place I've had leaking from in the past but once I figured it was my error I've had no issue. With the larger bag it came folded and the zip lock closure was a bit wonky at the bend but after a bit of use it fixed itself. I make sure to store it where it's not bent. I went looking for another and was sad to see alot of the sizes aren't available right now.Bought these for a whitewater canoe trip. We got swamped a few times but everything was dry. We had some help righting the canoe and the guys had unclipped the big bag and placed it on the rocks it we didn't know it had tipped over into the water. Other bags would have been filled with water but the locking part kept it all dry. The smaller of the bags did take a very small amount of water but my friend hadn't made sure the very ends of the lock were 100% closed. I did get some complements on them. My son used the phone bag and even swam with it on his phone was dry . You do need to be careful it has a small bar on the inside of the bag I almost lost . Like any bag going from a cold house to a hot environment there was some condensation .

UPDATE: Freegrace contacted me, unsolicited, after reading my review. I accepted their offer to send me a replacement cellphone dry bag free of charge. I am very impressed with their level of customer service. It is refreshing dealing with a smaller, family-owned business for a change.I should clarify that before the cellphone dry bag broke, I tested it twice. With a Kleenex tissue inside, I put it under running water in my sink and submerged in a vase of water. It passed both tests 100%. And, after receiving Freegrace's e-mail, I did a little research on the company and products and found them very highly rated overall.So, I updated my review accordingly, from 3 stars to 5 stars.Original: Bag is very good but I bought it because it came with a free waterproof camera case, but the camera case broke before I could even use it. The circular closure lever came apart and piece got lost, so it was useless. We were in the parking lot of a river tubing location when it fell apart, and I was planning to use it that day. Very disappointing.

I purchased this bag to use as a bear bag on our backpacking trips and it has worked great. It has a little loop hook for us to attach a string and it is very lightweight for backpacking. We put a medium sized BaseCamp Odor-Barrier Bag into it and it works great to hold all our food for a 3 day trip. So far the food has stayed dry in many rainstorms hanging from a tree.

An excellent bag, kept everything dry and also sandleas on our trip to the beach. Very worth the price. The way to close it is very precise though so be prepared for a few minutes ensuring everything is sealed! Didn't come with a strap for the big blue dry bag however so if you need one of those you'll have to find one!
