This visual timer has been a blessing for setting time boundaries for my toddler AND myself!
I. Love. This. Saw a suggestion for it on Tiktok, and knew I needed it for myself and my child. It's so easy to set and easy to see. I use it to set boundaries for my 3yo - 20m to bedtime, 15m until we leave, 20m left of TV time, etc. He loves setting the timer, can tell how many minutes he has left, and it's ended almost all (not all... There's no such thing as a true miracle haha) the fights for transitions. And I've started using it for myself, for the suggestion I saw on TikTok, to set a timer for the things I disliked doing, or that I've been unable to devote focused time to. 15 minutes to picking up the kitchen. 15 minutes to clean up the bathroom. 10 minutes to tidy something. It's really helped me break out of a depression cycle, where you WANT to do the thing, and NEED to do the thing, but the thing is so daunting in your mind that you continually put it off because "I don't have time" or "this other thing takes priority". With this timer I'm taking little bites out of issues that plague me, and I'm allowing myself to accept that if the 15 minutes I put into it today isn't enough, it's OK because I have 15 minutes tomorrow. And actually SEEING that big blue 15 minutes on the clock go down from across the room is PRICELESS! It makes time feel less weighty.

Would have been completely perfect without the loud ticking...
We purchased for use managing breaks from our 2nd grader's online classroom and to help complete assigned reading and math time. It said in the description that it was useful for test timing. This implied it would not be loud enough to be distracting but unfortunately it ticks quite loudly. My daughter was on a 15 minute classroom break and was playing with a synthesizer keyboard. In the middle of her improv she blurts out "can you make that thing stop ticking!?" because even at 8 feet away the ticking was loud enough to be heard over the sound of her music and disrupt her creative focus. We'll have to send it back and try something else because there is absolutely no way she can read or do math with this timer anywhere in the same room.Pros:The visual design is great - it is very easy to see across the room while our 2nd grader zooms/dances/karates around the room during much needed stretch breaks. It felt well made (felt even more sturdy in hand than one could discern from the picture)Strong magnets - can be stored on fridge door where my kid can get to it independentlyEasy to set and useAlarm is perhaps just a tad on the loud side but not too loud to find acceptable (I am noise sensitive so others may find it perfect)Sits stable, upright and very visible on table because of kickstand feetConsLoud ticking (for us this undoes all the pros as it ruins focus during testing, reading time and math work)If they can revise the design to eliminate the ticking it would be perfect (there are other nearly silent mechanical timers but they are missing one of the things that this model has (square that is stable on table with red time remaining, magnetic back PLUS kickstand for table, 7.5" size which is not too big or too small).

Great for Home-Schooling
I read about a clock like this in a mom's group. She said it helped keep her young children on track, while doing schoolwork from home. The one she referenced cost about $10 more than this one. The designs were similar and the reviews seemed fine, so I thought I'd give it a try.#1 It absolutely helps keep our kids on track. They are used to having their teachers use something similar, so it's been great for that.#2 We've had it for a week and haven't had any issues.#3 I don't know if all similarly designed clocks are like this...but there is a quirk... every single time you want to set the timer... you first have to move the hands to the 55 position and then set it for the time that you want. Not a big deal once you get into the habit, but it's a reason to keep it out of reach of your kids.

Great Timer For My Classroom
I LOVE this timer as do my students. We use it daily in the classroom to remind the students how much time is left to complete work. It is accurate. I love how the position of the numbers are just like the face of a clock vs other timers have the 55 in the 5 spot which is confusing to kids who are learning how to tell time. I would definitely buy this again if needed.

Simple, reasonable, easy. A no-brainer.
Everyone has their own needs and interests. I came across this item when searching for an easy kitchen timer. I had seen this used on a popular cooking show and purchased it. I wasn't sure (or concerned) about the size of the device but all things being equal I am pleased. I've included some photos here. The first pic is the ultimate resting place for the timer. The second is to show the size of the timer -- it's about the same size as a standard gas range on a standard home oven. The final pic shows the back -- both the magnetic strips and the pop-up legs allowing this unit to sit on a table or desk.If you have a use for this type of timer and don't mind ticking (it is mechanical) and don't mind a mid-level buzz when it reaches zero, this is a sensible choice. But if you are purchasing this for a child or adult with autism or a similar affliction who may be affected adversely by noise, be careful prior to pulling the trigger. I don't mind the noise because when I cook (and again, I expect to use this as a kitchen timer to augment timers I set with an Echo in our kitchen) I won't hear much of anything and I care more about the visual status of the remaining time than I do about a ringing bell. This seems like a really sensible item to accomplish a very simple but very important task.

HORRENDOUS TICKING NOISE
The product is perfect, but unfortunately they had to add a mechanism with a ridiculously loud ticking noise that's worse than the clock room in the film 'Hook'...

Easy to use
Bought this for when I can’t embed timers into my PowerPoints while teaching. Love that it is easy to see and is mechanical so no need for batteries.
