My major concern is about drying. The product description says to "dry the mattress pad cover in a large capacity dryer at the lowest temperature setting" and "tumble dry on low." However, the tag on the actual physical product says "DO NOT DRY IN DRYER" — in two different places. Which one is it? The product description should not contradict the tag. If the product is not actually machine dryable, that is a significant drawback.The protector is not very absorbent, so much so that liquids bead up really well. It would be nice if the elastic sides of the product were also waterproof.

Very surprised at the positive reviews (which is why I made this purchase). The waterproof material part of this product is only for the top of the mattress. What falls over the sides of the mattress is just a cheap netting material. And as any mattress cover will do, it shifts around as one moves back and forth. So at times, the edges of the mattress will only be covered with the netting. My elderly father, who gets wet as he sleeps, tends to sit on the edge of the bed. And, well, he was wet. The mattress protector has shifted and now my mattress has urine on it. No one saw this as an issue?This is an inexpensive product because it is made cheaply. The waterproof material should cover the ENTIRE mattress. You will have to pay a little more to get a quality waterproof mattress cover. Don't buy this one.

I was a little hesitant to even buy a mattress protector since the one I used to have made my night sweats so bad, this one is a game changer though!!This mattress protector is super soft, not hot at all! And it’s completely waterproof! I’d recommend this product to anyone!The fit is wonderful on my 12” king mattress, it also has stretch to it if you have a taller mattress.

We are at the tail end of potty training our two little ones. As a reward, they were able to go from toddler bed and got their "big kids" bunk bed. I desperately want to protect the new mattresses.Its week 1 and so far I am very pleased with the purchase. It arrived quickly, just as discribed (soft and quite). My daughter was so excite about the new bed that she spent all day playing with toys on the bed. To my chagrin, she spilled her juice on the bed and did not notice for hours. I help my breath as I removed this cover, anxious of the stain on the new mattress. I can't express how relieved I was when the mattress was saved. I followed the washing directions and it came out the dryer like new. The integrity of the cover was intact.I plan on purchasing 2 more, to layer up their beds, for unfortunate night time accidents that might occurUpdate: I did purchase 2 more. I am so happy I did. After a family trip, we had major potty training regression. I layered mattress, mattress cover, sheet, mattress cover sheet. it's a life save when she as middle of the night accidents that I can quickly remove the top layer and go back to sleep... needless to say, I've been washing mattress covers way more than I anticipated. And glad that they are still holding up well.

So my husband ordered this protector for our new king mattress and I was very skeptical. We had bought a different brand at the store for our old queen mattress and it failed. Once this one arrived, he put it on immediately and it was so easy and fit perfectly. I checked it out and it looks great. We have slept on it for a few days and it’s so comfy, no plastic feel or noise. My baby had an accident and I was afraid it leaked through but it didn’t. Definitely recommend this! Will buy another when my daughter gets her own bed.

We bought this for my son's bed. He still has accidents at night. We wanted something to protect his mattress but not make horrible crinkly noises like typical plastic covers.We have used potty training bed mats before but he rolls around so much we needed something that covered the whole mattress. The top layer of this is the same soft material as the Maya we've used. They are not waterproof but they are very absorbent. The bonus with this mattress protector is that the underside is a thin plastic that I think we'll give added protection for the mattress should he have an accident that is too much for the top layer to handle. Even with the thin plastic this does not make any noise when you move around, which I love. Because of our history with similar fabrics and potty training I think this will work perfectly for our needs and for any other accidental spills.

I bought 3 king sized sheets to protect my sectional sofa and they are fantastic. I have a naughty cat that has been peeing on the couch and I wanted a 100% waterproof cover for the couch before I started replacing cushions and these are where it's at!A 100% waterproof couch cover will cost you anywhere from $60 - $200 and have mixed reviews. I bought these (less than $30 a sheet!!) and they work amazing! I poured a cup of water on the sheets while they were suspended over my bath tub to see if there was any leaking and not a drop, the bottom wasn't even damp. I even tried roughly scratching it with my nails to see if it penetrated (cats of course...) and the water still didn't get through, it just sat on top. Since I cover my couches with blankets anyways to keep the dirt and pet hair off, it was easy to hide the waterproof sheets. Guests don't even notice they are there and I can rest easy knowing that my jerk cat cant destroy my couch anymore!

Updated, 2 months later: I’ve been religious about hanging this to dry, thus not exposing it to heat. The pad is now not leakproof. My bedwetter soaked thru this and I’m left with a wet mattress. I had such hope. Boo.Original: I have a bedwetter in the house and use waterproof covers religiously. Often they leak or tear, or are hot or loud.I’m super impressed by this one. It’s not loud. It goes on easily (not crazy tight, which leads to tearing). It is softer than other brands and haven’t found a leak yet. I wash on gentle and hang dry to help it last. For the price, definitely worth it.
