CAVN Pen Light for Nurses Medical with Pupil Gauge, Warm/White Light, Premium Aluminium Reusable Penlights for Doctors Nursing Students Rose Gold and White

I am in nursing school and we were required to get our own penlights for clinical assessments. Forgetful me, got three different types: one from my school, one from my job, and one from here on Amazon. The one from my school was cheaply made and the writing and symbols on it began to scratch off. The one from my job worked well but the light isn't that great. But this one is perfect. Not too bright and it's extremely durable. I love that I have two instead of one, just incase I forget it or lose it (which I hope never happens). Will definitely buy again, if I do happen to lose them.

Nice and bright with very little halo which is great for checking pupils since it casts no stray light into the fellow eye.My last penlight was similar (I mean, aren’t they all) to this one except the on/off button was nearly the full width of the pen. The spring mechanism seemed to wear out (compress down) quickly making the light dim and fritz. I finally dropped and broke it, forcing me to buy a new one. I’m hoping this one withstands a bit longer time and my clumsy hands.

The media could not be loaded.  Depending on what you want the penlight for, it could be great. I got this pen because I thought the yellow light would be softer and more comfortable for patients when I am checking for pupil response (I’m an EMT). Unfortunately, the light is way too bright for EMS use but it’s really great if you’re just looking for a convenient flashlight.

This is the second set I purchased for myself and family members. They are beautiful and work great. I put one in the case with my thermometer for use, and one in my medical cabinet. It is great to have the 2 lights to interchange. I would recommend these for every household. Great purchase and product.

This lights are amazing! Pens are heavy and good quality! It comes with batteries also come with LED AND Sun color light each pen!

Bought this for nursing school. Overall satisfied with the quality and the colors are super cute very bright. I really like that it comes with batteries and everything you need to start using it immediately.

This is more or less a flashlight disguised as a pupil examination light. There are two LED bulbs for each penlight, a yellow and white one, and even the yellow one is quite too bright for examination in most conditions except outdoors.However it is well built, feels good to hold, easy to click on/off and looks professional.Does come with off-brand AAA batteries for each penlightIf I had to estimate the lumen output of the penlight, it's around 300 or so, while traditional penlights are around 80 lumens, best for dimmed examination rooms. ideally should have an output of around 100 lumens with a white light (better for visualizing blood vessels) or 120 for a yellow light (for pupillary reaction only).

Good quality. The rose gold is very nice. Glad I bought these so I don't have to get my phone full of germs just to use the light on it. A must have for nurses. The pupil diameters is handy to have on there as well as the 5cm ruler. Good buy. If you're thinking about it, do it. You get good quality for a cheap price

I'll preface this by saying that you're paying $8 for each penlight, 2 AAA batteries and 2 heads. The penlight is very pretty but only works as a glorified flashlight with a 5 cm measure and pupil gauge. The beam is poorly focused and the colour accuracy is bad, so it may be difficult to see finer details. It is also far too bright. I paid $27 for a much better penlight that I now use for assessments but keep this one for the measure, pupil gauge and as a flashlight for dark rooms. I would never want to point this thing at another person's eyes.

These penlights suck! They weigh a ton, big and clunky pull my scrubs down, the light is bright at first but the batteries don't last long. Waste of money, worth spending more for something lightweight with a small battery that lasts!

I got these because I liked the colours but the clip broke off the very first time I used it. Cheap quality
