ColiroArtist Mica Watercolour M790 Set Paradise by Finetec

The media could not be loaded.  Hard to choose from this range of metallic/sparkly watercolours.I opted for the 'Paradise' palette. A collection of sumptuous and delicious colours with names like 'Mermaid' and 'Lagoon'.There is a helpful insert so you can see how the paints lie on white paper or black paper.So far have used them as a glaze over traditional watercolours but am pleased with the result. I used them direct from the palette so can't comment on how they may mix with each other. Price is OK, 6 colours in the palette which will work well with mainstream colours.Nice extra addition to watercolour collection.

These Coliro palettes have beautiful colours which last a long time. I use them for calligraphy ink, using clean water to create an ink for dip pen calligraphy. The colours are dense and the paint is easy to work with. Highly recommended.

These are really shiny snd iridescent. They are smooth and I use them in adult colouring books . Would love to collect whole set .

Die Farben sind der Hammer und sind ebenso ergiebig. Der Schimmer ist wahnsinn. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Nachdem ich bereits zwei tolle Paletten mein Eigen nennen konnte (Vintage und einen Metallkasten) habe ich mich total auf diese frischen Farben gefreut. Die Enttäuschung kam relativ schnell, denn allein bei den ersten 3 Farben ist ein heller milchiger Schleier dabei, der sich über die Farbpigmente legt. Egal, was ich probiert habe, ich habe sie nicht wegbekommen. Dadurch wirkt die Farbe sehr fleckig und schillert nicht so schön und ebenmäßig wie die anderen. Auf weißem Papier wirken "Sky Blue" und "Lagoon" einfach nur matschig und nicht deckend. Bei seitlichem Lichteinfall sehen sie besser aus, aber wer hält Bilder nur schräg ins Licht 🤷‍♀️Die rechten drei Farben funktionieren in gewohnter Finetec-Qualität, aber dafür ist der Preis definitiv zu hoch und die Gesamtqualität zu niedrig. Schade.
