Nakamichi Speck 16 Watt Wireless Bluetooth Portable Speaker (Black)

This Nakamichi Speck is best speaker in this price range. Let me explain my observations one by one:Look and Feel ............. 5/5Its Solid rubberized thick and heavy feeling when you grab this in hand. You pick it and you will feel that there is something in this which making the weight like good speaker magnet, good battery etc. Not a cheap light product.Start / Shutdown / Notification Sounds ........... 4/5I don't like the speakers which speaks while turning ON/OFF or changing modes. It is not speaking in human voice, it just have notification sound short beeps of different types.Start Up Volume..................5/5This is best part of a quality product. It starts at low volume always. If you want, you can raise the volume. Some speakers starts very harsh/loud and make us afraid, I hate that.Buttons and Connectivity............. 5/5Buttons are well placed and well raised rubber. Even without looking on it, I can feel by touching that which button I am about to press. The best thing you need to shot press for volume management and long press for track change. Because in long press of volume (cheap speakers give this option) we never get accurate volume as we need. Connectivity wise, it have AUX input, MicroSD card support and Bluetooth 5.0. I never miss the FM because in my area FM is not clear and having range issue.Bluetooth Audio Lag / DelayAudio/Video lag (delay) in Bluetooth connectivity I felt while using this with MI 4K Android TV Box. With Mobile phone or laptop, there is no audio delay while watching video.Audio Quality using AUX / Card / BTI was not able to find any difference. All three sounds same, the best.LoudnessQuality Audio are never fond of loudness. It is quite loud as per it's size but don't compare with any monster. Sufficient for family/room. If you love to watch movies/music on Laptop or Mobile, it will thrill you.BASS / Treble / Vocal / Lows / Mids / HighsBass is great managing the audio quality. Not very heavy deep, because this is small speaker. But good enough. No distortion if you increase bass from mobile equalizer.Trebles are so sweet. You will love the AR Rahman songs. Classical, Ghazal, 90s, 20s, 2020s all sounds very well. You will be able to find some new beats in your favorite song from this speaker.Vocals are very good. Everything clearly understandable.The same in other words it manages Highs (Treble), Mids (Vocals), and Lows (Bass) very very well as per its size and price.Battery BackupIt have 3600 mAH battery. Which is not in JBL flip 3, not in Boat Stone 1400/1401. It have great backup. You can play all day and all night continuous with mid volume. It automatically turns off (in BT mode) if there is no audio played from connected source.Totally Yes!! Go for It. I will post a YouTube review soon.

Its been a week I had this and I am quite impressed. Earlier to this I had the popular Boat Stone 600 for 4 years which, was really good. However Nakamichi Speck seems to be better.1) While Stone was loud, it lacked bass and detailing. Speck, however, balances it out. While it is not as loud as the Stone, the bass is terrific and gives a good woofer effect even at its peak volume.2) The Speck auto turns off post 5 mins ( approx) of inactivity. Power saver!3) While Stone had a plain, metallic appeal, the Speck looks rich and more visually appealing4) I used to get about 3 -4 hours back up from Stone. In Speck, I am getting >10 hours without charging (so far). Due to its auto turn off feature, I expect to get more.5) It has a nice metal hook to carry around.That's it for now!

Sound and with ample battery lifeAt last delivery speed 1 day delivery by Amazon primeUpdate after using for a month ....Its grt battery life upto 10hrs but at 30 % battery the speaker enters low power mode and shuts off and doens't play music unless charged .. yeah grt battery battery life over all but the problem.. i dont konwImp* if any one has same problem please post me i dont know if my product is defective..

Build quality is very goodExcellent mids and highsLow bass

As a background, I own several other portable speakers from JBL, Edifier and even the Bose Soundlink.Bought these as a casual listening device on the desktop and they are very good for the price. Excellent stereo separation, great mids and depth for a small speaker. All genres sound good, also podcasts are fantastic. Please dont expect booming bass from something so small. This audio is more tuned towards purists.Excellent battery life, USB C charging and waterproofing are icing on the cake.Btw, Nakamichi is now Chinese owned, but this product is rock solid...Happy listening...

I had ordered this with great expectations, and it really did meet them. However, it failed to charge and so I asked for a replacement.The replacement arrived and this time, it didn't even boot up.Eventually got the refund but it was a disappointing experience as I know the speaker quality was really good when it was working.Sound Quality - 5/5Bluetooth Connectivity - 4/5Battery Life - 4/5Just ensure you don't get a defective product.

Just received it today. Have listed to a lot of high end to low end sound units and very thing in-between. I must say for the price this product is unmatched by anything else in the market.The Pros:1. Very balanced sound2. At high volume its not jarring3. At low volume you can hear all the instruments and vocals equally well.4. Pro build quality5. Bluetooth 5.0 for this price (gees you got to be kidding me).The cons:Could be your ears if there is any.Very Very happy with this purchase. You have to know your music to appreciate this product.
