I purchased another version with one of those flat remotes with the barely there buttons. I figured it would be easier to clean. I struggled with the thing for over a year and grew to hate it more with each passing attempt to use it. I decided to rule out future replacements that had the same type of irritating flat remote with barely there buttons. This one ended up being the one I chose because... well I'm not rich. Some of the existing reviews were... scary but I bit the bullet anyway. OMG! This thing is so much better than the one it replaced!!! The remote is quick and responsive! One press of the button and the source changes!!!! Prior to this device I could only dream of things working the way they were supposed to! I can now easily switch my old 2007 era TV between four different inputs with out having to get up and go over to aim the remote directly at the sensor from two inches away and press the button 96 thousand times! I can sit in my chair across the room and change the sources with just one button press! Blu-Ray player, ROKU, VHS-DVD player, Cable box. One press to chose any of them! I'm in heaven! OH! And the picture is clearer! I thought our TV was on its' last legs but now I can see we won't have to worry about replacing it any time soon! I love this thing!!!

Excellent customer service. Remote was not working correctly. I contacted the company and they promptly send me another product. Love the switch! It works as it should. Would purchase again.

Bought one of these and it was DOA. Returned it the next day. After shopping around on Amazon for another cheap 4K rated switch, I read some reviews about this one and found that others had to try two or three to get a working one. I decided to give it another try, and the second one worked perfectly. I'm just using it on a 1K monitor so no comment on picture quality. but using it is easy. It switches immediately to the new source as it is plugged in, and you can switch between sources using the remote, or you can step through active channels with the switch on the unit.You can't beat it for value if you get a functioning one. Built solidly, but you'll have to provide your own USB supply for power.Spotty quality control on cheap devices like this is probably the new normal. Better quality control would have resulted in a 5 star review.

Ordered a unit and received it, very small for something that connects to 5 different inputs and also has a single output and and IR receiver port. Unit comes with the adapter cable that would plug into a USB port, no plug adapter in the unit, so I was concerned I was missing something. Was not the case, you need to have your own 5 amp USB adapter. This honestly wasn't an issue, as I had two from recently upgrading our cell phones. I plugged everything in and no power indication or lights came on the unit, switched adapters and same thing. I then tried two more I know work and power other devices, still nothing. I returned the item and about a week later received it's replacement. Identical issues no power. The unit seems compact but I would recommend to spend a bit more and get a higher quality device, if possible.I did get a letter from the seller, after returning the 2nd unit, from the letter I would avoid the seller. The spacing was un-formatted and mistakes in the text speaks to the quality of the support, for example: " We will provide professionaltechnical support" and using emojis in a support communication is not something I would expect from a professional organization.

I was a little worried about buying this product, because it looked a little bit cheap and wasn't from a well known brand name. However, this product works fantastically well. I have used three devices simultaneously on my TV at 1080p 60hz each, without even having to plug in the included power cable. It's solidly built, its tiny and easy to hide away, abd the remote wotks flawlessly. This device automatically switches to whatever the most recently added HDMI input is. I think this is very convenient and its pretty cool to see the Nintendo Switch come up on the tv right away just by sliding it into the dock, without having to change the input. this might not be what you want, but the remote switches inputs instantly so its not that big a deal. i highly recommend this product.

The HDMI switch works well and it suits my needs for switching between devices. What seems to be an alarming trend on Amazon now is that the so called extra features don't work at all. The IR remote is worthless, the IR sensor does not give you any indication that it is on (light?) when plugged in, so let's assume it doesn't work. The remote does not work even with a fresh battery. Now its my problem, to either send it back or landfill it. In most cases when I've sent defective peripheries back they send another one that doesn't work. So I'm just gonna chalk this one up to yet another "built to fail" product from China that over promises and under delivers.

I just upgraded to a 4k tv that only has 3 HDMI ports. To my dismay, I discovered that my surround sound receiver with 5 HDMI ports wasn't capable of passing through a 4k signal to my new tv. This little device saved the day. Now all five devices are connected and working flawlessly. I am a bit concerned about the longevity of the remote / likelihood that it gets lost as it is very small and weighs about as much as a piece of paper. All in all though, a great product.

This was exactly what i was looking for. It was relatively easy to set up but i had a little difficulty at first. It kept “shutting off” after a minute of being on and i couldn’t figure out what it was till i decided to connect the USB chord and connect the other end to one of my own charger boxes (not sure if that’s the correct word to use, the part of the charger that plugs into the wall) and that solved the issue. I REALLY wish they would’ve included the charger box because i was ready to pack it up and return it. Unless i missed it, i didn’t see anywhere in the instructions that you had to connect it and plug it into the wall. It should’ve come with its own charger box!
