Nice heavy duty piece. Extended small camper tongue so I could open Jeep tailgate while hooked up. This allowed me to shorten for storage.

This swing hitch fit up was great, was not complicated to install with proper equipment. I am now able to store my boat in storage shed that I couldn’t fit it in before! Glad I found this unit and was price was fair.

I have a trailer that is 14 feet long that pulls a JetSki, I don't have room in my garage for this trailer and two cars. With the swing tongue, I was able to shorten this trailer by 2 feet, which allows it to tuck in my garage and out of the way. It was relatively inexpensive and I have already used it a dozen times. The directions are easy to follow. The item is cast steel, which welded easily on my square tubed trailer. For those folks that don't have access to welding gear, they also sell a bolt on model. Not only would I recommend this to anybody needing such a solution for their long trailer tongue, I am buying another one for a sail boat trailer as well.

High quality, straightforward installation. Shortened my jet ski trailer by about 3'. I wanted to maximize the length I could shorten so I had to move the jack back to the frame. Was a little concerned that this would cause issues, maybe create too much stress on the jack, cause the trailer to be lopsided, etc. Worries were unfounded, jack work great in it's current location. The black hose over the wires is my addition, didn't come with the kit.

Not the cheapest solution, but certainly the strongest if done well. It also adds a new level of security by locking the hinged tongue to the safety chains with the hitch lock once stored. There is no way for the trailer to be towed with the tongue hinged, locking pin removed and secured.

Maybe this product was not available 30 years ago, But glad it is now. Works great, I can actually put my boat in garage now without putting it on an angle. I welded mine on. It was easy.

Added this to my alumacraft boat trailer in the 3x3 size, used dewalt sawsall blades as shims to center and welded it on. I did extend my trailer wires since I was replacing my 4 way plug anyway. Hitch is solid and no complaints

I cut my trailer tongue with sazall and the unit fit perfectly. Welding was pretty straight forward. The harder part was replacing my solid hydraulic line with a rubber one and bleeding the system. If you know how to weld with a buzz-box this is a pretty easy installation and will save you $$$.
