Bought this for someone who can be pretty picky about their products but it passed! According to him, it’s probably best for someone with shorter hair since the bristles aren’t very long. Overall great quality and love the design. Lightweight but seems sturdy. Would buy again.

I would have paid upwards of $30 for a phenomenal brush like this! It's gorgeous, high quality, and luxurious! It's made very sturdy and there are literally no flaws! The missing pin that others have docked stars for is actually supposed to be there! It's to promote flexibility in the pad since the pins are wooden and don't have any give like standard plastic or nylon pins do. It also helps the brush dry faster if it gets wet. It is made of wood after all and water could ruin it if it isn't able to dry properly. The brush also came with a spooly (pictured) to help assist with cleaning, and 5 extra wooden pins (also pictured) in case any happen to break or fall out. Although I don't forsee that being an issue as the pins seem very sturdy and don't feel like they will break or come loose easily. They also included a cotton drawstring pouch to keep the brush in when storing it or traveling with it. Everything seems so high quality for the price! Plus the performance is great! No static, no pulling, less hair shed! But keep in mind it is more fragile than a plastic brush and should be treated accordingly. I personally am very gentle with my hair, so fragility shouldn't be an issue. Anyway, I will be buying another one and I would highly recommend this brush!

Everything came as advertised, all the way down to the detangling brush, cotton travel bag, and the brush itself.The boar hairs really did look and feel like plastic, so I was a bit concerned, but as you can see from the pictures I used their testing methods (cutting off a few hairs and lighting them on fire), and it turned to dust. So the BOAR HAIRS ARE REAL.I’ve used the brush when my hair was wet and dry, and it’s worked wonderfully both times. I have thick hair, but I’m able to feel the nylon pins against my head, while the shorter boar hairs brush my hair as well. It’s a really nice combo, and feels great for me.I’m very happy with this brush and have no complaints!

(So far)Likes: Compact, Well Build, Sturdy, Straight Wooden Pins, and Super Comfortable to use.A plus for me is that it is not harsh on my Afro-texture hair; on the contrary, my hair detangles like a dream for me. No unnecessary Breakage!!!I will without a doubt gift one to any of my family members. Especially my Mom and Sister.

I got the wooden paddle brush with wooden "bristles." I like it better than my much more expensive (5x more) one that I've been getting for years. I've got very long hair and lots of it. The wooden bristle brush is the only one I'll use because it doesn't hurt my arm or head (pulling... ouch), or break off as much of my hair, which is very fine. So, I've been plunking down $$$$$ every few years when the old one wears out. I saw a review on Chosin's and decided to try it. Dry hair or wet (right out of the shower), wind blown or bed mussed, the tangles brush out easily and comfortably. It has shorter bristles than the more expensive brand, which I thought would be a show-stopper, but NO. It actually brushes better and firmly, but gently, massages my scalp, which the other one didn't. I love this brush and just ordered another one as a backup/travel brush.

Real well made and keeps my hair soft and shiny. I purchased this since my last brush broke by the handle area. And I truly don’t regret it. Product even comes with a little vouch which is Perfect for traveling.

I was so happy with the way the brush felt on my scalp and how it easily detangled my wet hair, I got one for my daughter's family. It was delivered today, and the verdict from my 7 year old grand daughter (with fine, long hair) is that her hair feels like it has been detangled for a thousand days. Apparently, wet hair has turned into an experience not to be feared.

I like this one but not as much as I live my other brand
