Great starter kilt!

It was the wrong size but very pretty

I suggest buying the next size down from your measurements. I purchased the 50” size after measuring a 50” waistline at my belly button. The buckles being tightened completely gets you to 50”. There’s at least two to three inches of extra space if you let the buckles all the way out. Doesn’t leave much room for losing weight. I’m wearing it to a wedding this month so I probably won’t return it, but it is extremely comfortable. I expect I will have a new one shortly after the wedding. I am 6’ 1” and was concerned about length but it touches the bottom of my knee caps.
