It lasted 4 months and then had connection problems and won't charge any more. I liked the fact that I always had a cable but too bad it didn't last long.

Nice to have when phone dies

Plugged in my phone to charge at 10pm woke up at 6 am and it was not fully charged. It started at 30% and when I woke up it was at 92%. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 which uses the USB 3.0 cable for charging so I expected this to be slower, but was shocked that this was substantially slower. My son uses one for his phone in emergencies with his power bank and has mediocre results. They are okay in a pinch, but definitely not letting full power through.
