The fiber content of these socks are: 68% merino wool, 15% cotton, 10% polyester, 7% elastic. Made in Pakistan. They are very warm but a bit scratchy and not breathable. These socks are much larger than the sizes stated on the package. I ordered the correct shoe size but I have 1-2 inches of space between my actual heel and the heel of the sock. The packaging states that there is extra cushioning. The socks are thicker on the bottom but it doesn't feel like much padding, compared to other cushioned socks I've worn. These socks are very warm and possibly good for being cozy inside on a cold day but I wouldn't recommend them for any sort of physical activity since they do not breathe well and the your feet will be a sweaty mess. The fit is also off, which can lead to blisters if you're moving a lot.I received these socks at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
