S Art Supplies Durable Clay and Dough Tools Five Piece Set - Ages 3 & Up (VC-S5PC)

I bought this tool set for my 5-year old, who loves play-doh but has been limited in what he can do with it. In general these tools are fine, I was disappointed that the rolling pin didn't actually "roll" like a normal rolling pin but I suppose for babies and toddlers who can pinch fingers that's good. For my 5-year old who has above average fine motor skills and was using a real rolling pin in his art class since 4, this set was too "young" for him. If you're looking for a starter set for your 2-year old go for it. If you're looking for tools for older kids, keep looking... Otherwise - Colorful and easy to clean, but the plastic is cheap and concerned they won't last long.

HelloMy kiddos are home for the summer so we needed to update our art supplies. 1st off I ordered 2 of these packages and within 2 days they were on my table. The kids love the rolling pins and the cutters - they are SUPER safe and kids of all ages can use them. The kids are absolutely in heaven and enjoying the new tools for their moon sand. They are heavy duty not flimsy at all. The summer will be filled with fun using these tools. The kits comes with 5 tools, they are bright and fun colors. Make it easy to shape, cut, roll, and mold the moon sand or playdough. Best of all they are very easy to wash off. I simply run them under luke warm water and lay them on a towel to air dry. Wish it were in the package shown, I bought this for a school play doh basket and wouldn't care if it were for my kids, but bummed to add this packaging to the basket, also all the pieces are red and blue not as pictured.oh well I guess

We use these for our playdoh trays. I run an early ears Instagram page and these work great for the activities that we do using playdoh. They’re lightweight but don’t let that fool you they actually do the job and are not flimsy. This set is nice, brightly colored, easy to use, and a great size for little hands. I only have one gripe about the roller - I wish the roller handles worked like a real bakers roller... It is stationary which it makes rolling play-doh out a little hard to do for little ones. All in all, this is a great set if you're looking for a fun tool set on the cheap side.

Unlike many other such tools, these are incredibly sturdy and they will give many years of use. My 1 ½ yr old granddaughter is a little small for them but she can grow into them. For now they make interesting marks on her play dough. As someone else mentioned the rolling pin doesn't actually roll on its handles which is a bit of a pity. But I looked at many such sets of tools and I'm very glad I bought these. Wonderful!

We've had this for a few months now. It is a perfect set. The reviews on here about the rolling pin not working - well, it doesn't roll like a real bakery rolling pin, but I PROMISE you, it doesn't matter. You can still roll it with your hands on the handles and it is fine. I was all nervous about it after reading the reviews and bought an extra rolling pin that rolls on it's own. It was unnecessary. Also, this is fine for adults to use too.
