I bought the blue, I felt it was a calmer color for kids. The size is excellent, a nice big timer. It sticks to the fridge and the magnetic attraction is strong - which is excellent for it staying on, that does make it a little hard to take off the fridge but it can be done. After some prolonged use I noticed that it doesn't always "ding" when the timer finishes, it just kind of stops ticking. Usually we are kind of visually aware of it so that's not a major deal for me, but if that would be a deal breaker for you something to be aware of.

I bought this as a way to stay on track during the work day after my first egg timer broke within a week. I have pretty severe ADHD and the time blindness that often accompanies it. Meds have their limits and don’t do much for time blindness (at least in my experience), so I needed something to help structure my time.It’s common for me to get so focused on work that I will forget to log on to Zoom for meetings, much to my boss’s chagrin. And when I tried to use my phone’s timer, half the time I’d get distracted by something else, like an incoming text or email.I love being able to see exactly how much time is left with just a quick glance. The alarm is loud enough to be heard from the other room (a bonus since I often wander away from my desk during breaks) and it’s lasted much longer than the $5 egg timer.The ticking is very audible, which some people may not like. I don’t mind it; I actually kind of like it because it fades into the background but it’s also an audible and visual cue that I’m in work mode, both for me and my partner. It’s stupidly easy to set and reset if needed. And it even came in my favorite color. I hope this lasts a long time, but if I get only a year’s use out of it, I’d buy another one just like it because of all the time saved from distraction. I’d strongly recommend this to both adults with ADHD and parents of ADHDers, with the earlier caveat about the ticking noise.

Love this timer for my 2.5 year old! It is easy to use and made it so he could easily see how much time left there was before we needed to clean up/move on/etc. You do have to rotate the timer to 55 and then to your time if setting it for a small amount of time in order for the buzzer to go off- not a big deal, just something to keep in mind when using. Strong magnets made it secure to the fridge. Unfortunately, the color disc broke after about a month of use and it is no longer usable. But I contacted Secura customer service and found out the visual timer has a two year warranty and they immediately addressed the issue. Very happy with this purchase!

As someone with ADHD, time blindness leaves me always scrambling last minute. Even with alarms and calendar reminders, there is something to be said for watching a color get smaller and smaller that surpasses a regular clock or egg timer. The only thing is that it ticks which drive me insane so I returned it. Great size, quality construction, and an array of colors to chose from. If it did not tick it would have been great.

Loved this clock. Great for homeschooling or for any classroom. Easy enough for even my 5 yr old to use. PROS= very large, can sit on flat surfaces, has magnets for boards or fridge, so easy a 5 yr old can use. CONS= delicate. One of my kids picked it up by the front and the blue popped backwards out of place and that broke it. We tried opening it ( very hard to do) to put it back in place but it was completely broken. So if you buy just be careful not to hit the front to hard.

Love this timer! I use it at school so students can see how much time they have left to work, but it keeps me on track, too. I use it at home so I can see how much time has passed as I’m working on something and this encourages me to push myself to work a little faster to get more done. It’s also a great tool for little ones at home to try to beat the clock as they are cleaning up or getting ready for the day. Wonderful for anyone with ADHD. It’s a great size so you can see it from across the room and the fact that it is magnetic AND has a stand makes it really versatile!

Love the large size and vibrant blue colour. The magnet is ultra strong so sticks on the fridge without slipping. It also has a stable foldout stand making it great to prop up on a table. We use it as a timer for a 3 year old. Helps him to playfully visualize the concept of time. He now actually enjoys completing simple tasks. Getting dressed was taking 45 minutes plus, now he can be finished up in 10 or close to it. Helps to give him a time frame as to finishing up tub time, or getting ready for bed time. It,s come in very handy as a motivater for our little visual learner.

My toddler was having a hard time with transitioning from one task to another so I bought this clock to help. I like that I can either keep it on the fridge or take it off and use it on its stand (if needed in another room). It’s a perfect visual queue to remind our kiddos who have no concept of time.It functions as advertised, it does make a ticking noise as the time goes down but it’s not loud enough to be annoying.The alarm rings once it reaches the “0”.It’s a great product for the price, especially since you can’t easily find these types of devices in store.I’m happy with my purchase and recommend it to all my friends with toddlers.
