Art at Home: 200 activities for kids

... but no lists of materials needed, which would have been very helpful; no categories for suggested ages or, more importantly, the techniques e.g wax resist occurs in various places but not according to building skills; animals here and there but mixd in with other things not at all connected. However, I was using this with my two young nephews via Zoom while they were both being home schooled due to Covid, and with preparation beforehand, there were things I could use for a 7 and 10 yr old (but separately!).

A wonderful book for entertaining little ones and inspiring a love of art! My four and seven year old have been loving choosing different activities, and it’s been a great help to have them so engaged for hours on end while I’m working at home. The activities are really well thought out and have a lovely balance of prompting ideas and guiding, while also giving them the freedom to learn and explore their creativity. Highly recommended!

My daughter is 6.5 years old and will sit for ages doing the different activities. Already a huge arts and crafts fan, this is great for new and different ideas of things to do and helps explore colours, materials etc. She loves it so much we have bought another one for her friends birthday! Highly recommended!

This is a brilliant resource to entertain kids - engaging, interesting and fun tasks to get the creative juices flowing. Our copy just arrived today - our six year old absolutely loves it and it has kept her busy for several hours already!

Lovely book. Will keep my daughter entertained for hours. The activities can be done in the book. Laura
