Kero Nomad Authentic Cable (MCU-B) Micro USB 2.0 A Micro B (Blue)

The Nomad Cable is a very basic short cable that is very portable. Although it is a little longer than I had hoped for, I understand that is is necessary for some more convenient use. I haven't had the product for long, so I am hoping that the caps continue to stay solid with regular use.It is not to say that the product isn't a solid one. But, I feel it can still be improved. If there was a version that had metal caps, with switches/latches, I would feel that it would last years. And also, with a metal latch/switch for snap in and release, You won't ever have to worry about the plastic cap ever getting loose.I know people dont really think that we should be tugging on the cable very much if it just sits in your pocket, but I tend to disagree. When you reach in your pocket to grab your keys, more than half the times, you are tugging on the long cable just to pull it out. All of this over time, I feel would eventually wear out the cable.If the company ever released a metal one, I'm sure I would pay the premium just to buy it. Especially, if they made a mulpile connector one such as micro usb, lightning connector, iphone, etc.

In my never ending quest to find/make the perfect minimal iPhone 6 wallet/battery case with a simplistic way to carry a charging cable, I came across this charging cable. I know, this isn't a lightning cable. That's okay: I have micro USB to lightning adapters that will allow me to use any micro USB cord to charge my iPhone 6. Problem solved.I really liked this cable because you can attach it to a key ring to always have it to charge a device with an external battery. I only gave this cable 3 stars because when I tried to remove the cap from the USB tip, it was on so hard that when I applied force to remove it the USB tip snapped off. Boom, money down the drain. Oh well, back to my search for a portable cable! Don't get me wrong, this cable most likely works great for what you want to use it for so don't get discouraged to buy it of you need it. Granted, I bought another one but I only wanted the cap that attaches to a key ring. That's why I bought a used one.And there you have it. If you like my review, please vote that you did. I'm here because mine finally broke after 4 years of abuse, and I want to buy another one. I absolutely love this cord. I keep it attached to a keychain on my bag, and it's always easy to grab off and use with a portable charger. Nice and short, no digging around for a tangled mess of a lengthy cord when it's not needed (usually out and about).The only minor beef I have with this product is the tiny end cap on the Micro USB end. There's nowhere to safely keep it while the cord is in use, so it's a hassle to keep track of, and easily lost. Certainly not a dealbreaker, though -- the cord continued to work fine even when I gave up using the cap, leaving it open to the elements on my keychain.I wish they made one with USB-C too!

It's goofy reviewing a cable. There isn't much to say except it works. It is really tiny but, that was what I wanted. The price is stupid but so are all cables that are Apple certified. It sucks for vendors to have to pay the "Apple tax" but it must mean something since I have had most of my non-certified cables go bad.This gets 5 stars because it is exactly what was advertised, it works great, and the shipping was fast. People who rate a prodect low because of the cost are not helping anyone and are not going to cause the price to change. It just makes it harder for the real customers to find quality products. It's even more annoying when someone reviews a product they don't own. Many times I wish Amazon (and Apple) would limit ratings/reviews to verified purchasers. I know we would miss out on some real reviews but the amount of bologna is getting ridiculous.

I get it, it's a key chain USB cable. I didn't expect it to be very long but it you are trying to charge your phone on anything other than a laptop with this then get ready to see your phone hang limply from a computer tower. It still works it just looks sorta stupid. The part that is the USB cap keeps it pretty securely locked to the keychain. The cap that covers the micro USB is another story. It is super ridiculous easy to lose. There is no place to put it so either be real careful or just plan to lose it.

I loved this product for a little while, it was great not having to worry about having a USB cable around. The caps have little ridges on them that click into holes on the USB connectors, so at first they felt really solid. The caps are plastic, however, and the USB connectors are metal, so the caps wore down and became less secure over time. I took the caps off about once a day. After a month or so the little cap on the micro-USB end fell off and got lost who-knows-where. A month after that, I took my keychain out to find the big cap swinging sadly on its own, no USB cable to be found :( sad day

This is a great product for those who is looking for a small and compact USB cable. As the posted picture shows, it has 2 caps (covers) on both end. One side has strap holes so you can attach a strap however other end you have to keep it in secure place otherwise you will easily loose it. I hope these caps have string or something to connect to the body of cable so that they are not completely removable.

A little longer than I expected it to be however it has been a great keychain companion. This sucker has gone through hell and back while being attached to my keychain and it works as if new each and every time.The caps are also incredibly tight and have not loosened up at all. Those suckers stay on.
