NPET Cat Dog Water Fountain (Replacement Filters for WF020)

I use these filters with my NPet Cat Fountains and they work great. I only use them now for travel filters, since I switched to more of a clear fountain, that takes a different filter type.The enclosed fountains u can't see through get dirty and if your schedule is busy like mine, u won't notice as fast as u NEED TO. To have sour water at ANY time for a pet is unacceptable.That has more to do with the fountain type AND the number of cats sharing the fountain.If u have multiple INDOOR cats, buy plenty of these, so u can keep the water clean at all times. Kitties need clean water, just as WE do!Overall, these r reliable and super easy to deal with....just make sure u have plenty on hand for regular changing.🙂

The water fountain is really nice. I like that the plastic is hard and substantial - not flimsy or bending. I like the three different ways to set up the waterfall. I like that you can easily see the water level and can replace the filter. One of my cats REALLY likes it and the other (who needs it most) only kind of likes it. The minute I plugged it in with the "Petals", it made the water splashing sound, and the cat who needs the most water came at a run from another room. However, she wasn't real sure about the new fountain. At least, she began drinking from the little water container next to this one. I catch her at it occasionally, but the younger cat likes it the most. The instructions said to connect the rubber tubing piece - but there was no rubber tubing. There was a teeny piece of rubber sleeve on the motor that fit into the tube, but it's not a tight fit. This made it a challenge to connect the hard tube to the motor (and to make sure the motor was secured to the floor of the fountain). It all fits, but that was a question. It seems to come lose easily (hard tub to the motor) because there isn't a rubber tube there. The motor seems to make a louder noise than I expected. Sometimes it is louder than others and I have a kitchen mat under it to help. The cats were a bit turned off from that, but we all seem to have adapted. I'm happy because it holds so much water and I don't have to refill it twice or three times a day. I'm glad I got this.

I've stopped buying/using these and I should have listened to people who said these were not like the filters that come with the unit. The water isn't filtered so much as slowed down through these. After a couple of days, I noticed the quality of the water seemed...stale. My cats were also not drinking out of it anymore. I soaked the filters for literal minutes, in a cup of filtered water, and it still failed to do much to keep the water clean.Listen to other people, buy some aquarium foam or pond floss and use that to filter. It's cheaper (a large roll of the floss is only a handful of dollars), and it will actually filter the water.

These are replacement filters, so the cleaning part isn't really applicable, but they can be rinsed before replacement. The fit is snug so the water always passes through the filter, keeping any food particles, hair, or dust out of the water. Works great in the cat fountain.
