I got this product about 2 months ago I usually wait a few months or longer to write a review since it gives me time to learn about the product but this product couldn’t have wait. I bought 2 tablet one for 1 yr old and 8yr old. And I could tell you, i. Receive a great peace of mine, no more fighting over our phone. Easy to use, so far tough, able to manage what they watch. For my 8 yr old I have a time limit of work that needs to be completed on the tablet before any other program opens for her to use . Volume is fantastic, clear picture and size of the screen is perfect. The only minor thing about the tablet and that I have not found in any tablet is, the option to be able to play a movie/show/you tube/where you could see the event and block it from being able to switch/change/or get out from What the screen is viewing. The reason is because my 1yr old keeps touching the screen and switching what she’s watching thinking that she could feel characters or the cartoon she’s watching. Beside that; everything on this tablet is fantastic and lets my kids enjoy, learn and give us a peace of mine while they enjoy their show with out fighting. Also recommend you get IXL for your kids it works great for them to learn since the screen is big enough and don’t bother their eyes.

I bought this for my 4yo son for Christmas 2020. We have not had any issues with it. The outer casing insures if dropped, it will not break, & that was a must have with a clumsy 4yo who constantly drops things. The picture quality is great, along with the great selections of games for your child. One of my favorite things so far is the outstanding battery life. My son would play this off & on for extended periods of time for many days in a row, & it will still have a decent battery life left. I love the selection of learning games that he can choose from. As a mother of 3 boys who never likes spending a lot of money on things, this was considered a pretty expensive purchase for a 4yo. But I also knew from experience, that if I wanted a "GOOD" tablet, I was going to have to pay a little bit more than I had in the past. Before, I had bought 3 or 4 tablets through the years that ranged from $65-$85 & every one was a waste of money. They were very slow & would glitch a lot & after a while, they would just stop working or would break easily. The Fire HD 10 Kids Edition Tablet does not lag, does not glitch, has no issues that we've seen, & IMO is worth it!

This is my first Kindle Fire tablet. I got it on the Black Friday week and I was really surprised to get so much for only $150.1. Setup was really fast. Both Adult and Kid's accord was ready in few minutes.2. Fast performance3. A lot of content for Kids : Books, audio books, games4. Seems to be a really good battery .5. Was able to watch online movies . No issues6. Uploaded videos in few formats to microSD card and watched with no issues. smooth and fast7. Was able to side load Google play to be able to install apps from google. No issues. Works for me.8. Not sure how useful Alexa is but it is working with no issues , just say "Alexa"9. Switching from Adult to Kid's account is pretty easy and fast after you understand where the shortcut is.10. The Case with the stand is a big plus when used by kids or while travelingThe only hick up i had is having microSD card work since it didn't want to recognize it at the beginning and i couldn't format it. But after few attempts it worked and now i can load plenty of content on it.It is really amazing to get so much for only $150

Purchased for my 8 year old daughter who is mature for her age. I was a bit worried that the content would be a bit childish for her but she loves it! She is an avid reader so she was super excited to find 100’s of free books on the tablet and it is linked to my amazon account where I can purchase and download books for her. I can also add our purchased amazon videos/shows to her tablet for her to enjoy which is nice.I’m able to add age appropriate apps to the tablet from my device. For example, I added our Disney Plus app so she has access to shows/movies.Her 2 year old brother who is more spider monkey than human has gotten his hands on it and so far it has survived! I am not one bit worried about the fragility of the tablet.I would highly recommend. It’s very easy to set up and use. I love the kids unlimited subscription Is great and I will definitely purchase another year when ours expires.Very impressed with the price. We have an iPad as well and honestly it hasn’t been touched since this amazon fire was opened for Christmas.The only thing I don’t like about the subscription is that there are YouTube videos available to watch within the app, most seem appropriate but came across kids makeup tutorials which I’m not a big fan of. There’s not a YouTube app or way to search for YouTube videos directly but you can search for generic content and related videos, games, books, etc will populate.I haven’t used the adult profile within the tablet and don’t plan on it much since I have my own devices but I like that it’s an option if we needed or wanted to do an internet search or watch Netflix.I have not set up time restrictions because I monitor my daughters usage and the tablet is charged and put away outside of her bedroom so she doesn’t have constant access but it’s nice to know that it’s an option.The warranty is a huge plus for us! Hopefully we do not have to use it but based on reviews, it seems to be an easy, straight forward process.The case is great! Very durable and the kick stand is great!Overall I’m super happy with this purchase and my kids love it. I was hesitant to promote technology and screen time in our home but its a reality o have to face: my kids need and should learn as much about technology as possible because it’s an advantage in today’s world.
