Kebley Swivel Peeler Stainless Steel Durable Fruit Peeler and Vegetable Peeler

Update: I received a replacement promptly. The new one works! Indeed, the blade on the original one was either defective or installed backwards.I believe the blade was installed backwards on the peeler I received. It is so difficult for the blade to bite into the skin of, say, an apple that I sheared my nail! Then I realized if I push the peeler forward it peels very easily. Trying to contact the seller and will report back if a replacement is offered (and works as expected).

This is an handy peeler for all your veggies when prepping in the kitchen. The silicone grip handle allows you to keep control of the peeler while using making the peeler easy for handling and using for everyone and anyone. I have already peeled carrots with ease, sliced cucumbers like a salad chef, peeled and sliced potatoes into chips and fries and shreded cheese like a pizza pro when making home pizza. There is so much more this handy peeler can do and I am can not wait to try as this has made prepping more fun in the kitchen.

I hate to write a bad review, but I have to agree with another one star review for this product. I, too, went by stellar reviews and was unpleasantly surprised with the results. Although it looks good, seems well built and good quality materials are used, the function is just not there. I have another Y-shaped peeler which is great. This one doesn't grab the skin well and mostly rips it rather than peel it as it's supposed to. I think it may have to do with inadequate swivel design, rather than sharpness. Unfortunately, had to return it.

I received my Kebley Swivel Peeler about 3 days ago. The peeler does not work. The blade seems to be dull, and I have a hard time peeling something easy, like a potato. I thought the peeler was suppose to work in both directions. It does not.

Not impressed one bit by this. Don't know how it ever got good reviews. It's sharp enough, but doesn't peel that well. It isn't easy to clean either. I used it the first time & thought I'd get used to it. When I used it again, I realized I was not going to "get used to it."

Nice toy. Does good for most jobs. Potato eyes require extra tool.

I received this item June 11th, 2017 and loved it until it broke. The blade completely fell off when I was using it. That's pretty bad since I had hardly used it. Amazon does not offer a way to exchange this for another one.
