Women's World Map Pattern Print Chiffon Scarf

Absolutely lovely! I have been looking for a map of the world scarf in traditional globe colors for a couple of years and this one is exactly as I imagined it! I purchased the color story with the aqua-blue background and the coral-red border as this one seemed from the photographs to be the most authentic rendering of what I wanted. I would say it is exactly as shown! This color way is called "orange/blue" but it is truly colored like a globe or an old school map and the border is more coral than orange so do not be put off by the orange. The coral edge sets off the map design beautifully.It is nicely finished, soft and sheer, 100% polyester and is very large (40 x 70), which allows for the entire design to be rendered more than twice and I will have many options for wearing it. It came via USPS directly from South Korea and arrived within a week of my order, as other reviewers have said, even though the time quoted was a month out.I suspect that when my girlfriends see it I will need to buy at least one other for a gift.

Its great when this happens ... I got a good deal on something I really like. It is a good quality print of an antique map, polar projection, on decent fabric with a voile texture. Its a conversation piece ... whoever did the map thought California was an island! Its polyester, but feels like lightweight cotton, very smooth and evenly woven. I don't see any defects in the print or in the fabric. The colors are lovely and clearly and the print is on register. The label says its machine washable. The only thing that is less than perfection is that the ends do not have a border because the print is designed for yard goods rather than scarves. The edges are finished in a dense zigzag stitch, but it is very neat and looks good. I may just roll it and hand stitch it myself, should take about 10 minutes.

One for myself, now ordered two for gifts. They take a couple of weeks to arrive which is OK just so you know in advance. I met someone at a conference wearing one of these scarfs; she turned me onto it an off we go.. Nice drape on the fabric. Print is crisp and in register. May buy more for my world-traveler gal pals. (PS I have now bought eight in all for my world-traveling friends and clients).

I love maps, and got this scarf in two colors because I wanted to wear it with lots of outfits. It's a very nice weight - can be worn summer or winter. I get tons of compliments on both of them!

Scarf looked better in the pictures. There's nothing wrong with it, the colors are just more muted and dull than I prefer.

So Pretty. Good size, nice texture, soft colors... LOVE the map!
