Beware if not right
Too high profile for the major walkway I had planned for it. Wrong color. You do the best you can to select a color from the choices on the screen. Beware if you don’t buy the right color. To return it you’ll incur a $17 restocking fee. I didn’t see that upfront when I purchased it.

Does the job but not worth the price
Not bad, does the job. However I paid significantly more to find one that was wood grain, and that was a disappointment. Also the grip on the bottom is black and comes up the edges, so the wood finish doesn't even blend in, it has a black outline. It is also not low profile at all, it is a complete half-circle above the ground.

Looks pretty good, functions well
After reading a few reviews on this and watching the video demonstration, I decided to go forward with the purchase and locate it in a low traffic area (against a wall). For that reason, I cannot vouch for how well it will stand up to heavy foot traffic, but it does stay in place very well without anyone bothering it.The color match against my wood floors wasn't as close as I was hoping it would be, but it still looks pretty good. I decided to just feed a single cord from my power strip through the cover, and it doesn't seem that it would have closed with much more underneath of it. But to be fair, I did not actually test that out.The reason I've docked this product 1 star is the black rubber base. It draws quite a bit of attention to the fact that I'm trying to HIDE wires. I knew the base was black before purchasing, and I'm still pleased with this product. I just wish the base could be more camouflaged.

Very sturdy and easy to stain cord saver!
At first I was hesitant to spend more than $30 for a 3 ft section of cord saver. I wanted to have it match our laminate flooring, which is very difficult to do by looking at pictures online. Thankfully, they offered a stainable version. When I received the item, I was highly impressed with the sturdiness and the natural woodgrain cover. It was textured and had a realistic woodgrain appearance as well. For my stain, I used a water based stain+poly one step stain in dark walnut. Now most of these types of stains recommend using a brush to apply the stain, however for my application I just lightly dipped a paper towel into the stain and rubbed it on the wood grain cover. This allowed me to apply a light layer of stain, control any over saturated spots and have a more smooth, uniform color. After 2 coats, I let it dry (about 10-15 minutes for my water based stain in between coats) and assembled the cover. Additionally the cord saver has rubber grips underneath to grab the floor which works flawlessly. It blends very well with my floor and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is needing a cord cover solution!

Two pieces of cord-hiding bliss
This comes assembled with no instructions. If you look closely at either end, you will see that the wood grain portion is smaller and fits into the grooves of the lower, black piece. Grasp that and pull up firmly (you might have to pinch the ends a bit) and the two pieces will separate. Lay your cord (yes, even a thick cord with a 3prong plug) on top of the black piece. Snap the top piece back on and voila! The stainable version does take a little patience. I stained it and let it sit about 24 hours before wiping it down gently with a paper towel - worked fine. Works great.

Not a dark oak
More of a medium oak. However it's better than no cord protector at all and works like a charm. Has prevented me so many trips over the cord that runs to my couch.

An oh darn moment I did not want cords across my floor.
Moved to a new house with hardwood floors, bought new reclining sectional that are electric. An oh darn moment I did not want cords across my floor. I found these which work great, the outlet is about 3 foot from the recliners plug. Two worked perfectly, they bud up next to each other (they do not snap together that would have been great) however, they do not move because of the bottom is rubber. They are not oh my goodness beautifully perfect for someone who likes to have everything just right but they do the job and are not tacky looking. I is what it is, I had cords and needed to hide them and this looks the best.

A good solution for my cord problem
Pretty good match with my flooring. However, what I like most is that it doesn't "attach" via glue or goo to the floor. Its in 2 pieces, a fairly heavy top that you put the chords under and a bottom piece that the top fits into. The bottom black piece has some sort of skid preventer on the bottom that keeps the unit from moving about.

Perfect!
Just what I was looking for to hide and protect a thick speaker cord and a gaming power cord that ran across an open entrance between the foyer and the livingroom. No worry of people tripping anymore either. I used to have a mat to cover the cords, but of course the mat constantly moved around making the cords move as well so that they would expose themselves regularly and looked messy. The mat also didn't look like it belonged. The pre-stained wood grain ChordSaver looks really tidy and beautiful as well as it does not slip if stepped on. It does not use sticky tape to ruin our floors, or lose stick power, just the non-slip rubber strips on the bottom. So does not move sideways yet it picks up easily. My husband even approved! I watched a video, and easy to pull apart and snap back together, and can be joined together if offset a bit. Happy Hubby, Happy Wifey! Thanks for making such a wonderful product.

Eliminated my tripping hazard
Last time I used something like this, there was a sticky adhesive. This has no adhesive, it sits flat on the floor and stays put. Thick enough for a fat AC able, Ethernet, and speaker wires. Matches my floor and looks good.

High off the floor and not real comfortable for stepping
They're a little higher off of the floor than I imagined. For my use they're unnecessarily big. I'm just running a cable for powered recliner.
