I liked this for my classroom but a student doing the "bottle flip challenge" hit the board with his orange juice bottle and the timer broke when it fell. It's smaller than I wanted but it was handy to carry and to just stick anywhere on the whiteboard. The alarm can be heard in a noisy classroom. I do not like that you have to keep pushing the seconds button to reset it. We did a 30- and 45- second timed debate and it was hard to set the timer. Other than that, it's handier than using a YouTube timer and safer than leaving your personal cell phone on the whiteboard ledge.

I bought this one because of the really large display, easy buttons and the stainless color. It seems to be working fine, although I haven't had it long, nor have I checked it against any other timer or clock. I bought it for use as a stopwatch to time billing time on projects. I would have given it 5 stars but it doesn't seem to have a lap feature. When I stop the time, walk away for a bit and come back, the display has turned off and the time is reset to zero. This means I have to remember to write down the time I've spent, then add it to another session, etc. I truly wanted something I could stop and turn back on later at the same place.

the battery was out of the slot. the cover to the battery compartment was laying loose. big black spot covered over a third of the screen. and the timer didn't work.they sent me a used, broken kitchen timer. really? how can this happen?

I haven't had the timer/stopwatch for long, but so far it seems to work - I wanted to be able to time things like coffee/espresso and to make video at 10 minutes or under, and this has worked well for that (but do note that it has minutes, seconds, but no finer scale than that). I also like to have electronic versions of the "manual", and it didn't appear on the company website, so I uploaded it here.

Am hard of hearing and bought this because it said it was loud - no any louder than the one I was replacing - waste of money
