Beware that it does not take the types of bulbs listed on the description page on Amazon..
This is a very nice ceiling fan, but in the information on the ordering page, it states 3 different types of light bulbs you can use in it....BUT...when we get it put together and installed, we find it takes SPECIAL bulbs, (of one type) that we now have to go shopping to FIND, as they are a special type. This was disappointing as we were happy that it said it took 3 different types of regular bulbs, of which we have two of these types.

NOT AS ADVERTISED
This lamp does NOT take standard lightbulbs as the description states. It takes GU10 base bulbs, which are spotlights. This means that instead of a nice, diffuse light, you have patches of light and dark in the room. I really don’t like it. I would return it but I already paid someone to install it without checking the bulb type because why would I? The description says it takes standard bulbs.You can buy adapters, but that causes the standard lightbulb to sit completely outside of the glass shade which looks horrible and is harsh on the eyes.

Looks as advertised. Easy to install. We opted to not install the remote option as we wanted the ability to run it on two switches instead of one. With the remote you only need one wall switch so it is handy if you are not installing it to a two switch. It is quiet and looks amazing against our light grey walls in our living room. Perfect addition to our home

very small, proprietary light bulbs, broke quickly
The fan broke after a couple days, just wouldn't spin at all even though I verified with multi-meter power was indeed flowing to the appropriate places. The fan is very very small, about the size of a beach ball. The lighbulb sockets seem proprietary and aren't included, the ones that go with it are pretty expensive too. I was actually glad it stopped working so I could return it for a refund. Not worth the money. Go to home depot and get a better one for the same or less money.

Nice. But the glass came with a crack in it!Update: when I told the seller that I needed to order a replacement glass cover, they just sent me new ones, and didn’t charge me! Very nice customer service. I’ve had the fan for quite some time now- still works great. I didn’t think I’d use the remote-but I do regularly. And I’ve received compliments on the fan.

Antenna for the remote receiver DOES NOT need to be outside the ceiling cowling to work. If you pinch the wire, it shorts out!
Quiet fan motor. Great than it came with the remotes. I did short out one of the receivers by pinching the wire (antenna) under the ceiling cowling. Looks really good. I wish the lights would swing up and/or around a little farther, but perhaps just a personal preference.

Pretty, but...
Very pretty now that I've had it installed but it says it needs 3 E27 bulbs which I ordered at the same time and it's too late to return them. It actually needs a specialty bulb GU10. I'll find them but the listing could have been clearer.

the lights take GU10 bulbs not included which limits your lighting
I am hunt for the right bulb now. very low lighting. I tried to adjust the lights for better coverage but to no avail.
