the sticky pads don't last (applied to back of the TV) and came off within a few hours. sending back

The range on the remote isn’t that good. One of the led strips always seems to be the wrong colour like in the photo below

If you've been in electrical showrooms and seen those TV's with backlights behind them and thought "I'd quite like that", then look no further than this little kit. I was looking for one of them for my bedroom TV, so decided to go for this one as a test to see what it was like.>>>WHAT'S IN THE BOX?In the box for this lighting kit, you'll find four short led lighting strips on a reel, three connector cables, the USB connector/IR sensor, remote control and four pin connectors.>>>SETTING THE KIT UPIt's absolutely easy-peasy to set this lighting system up on your TV - but you'll need to make sure that your TV has a spare USB socket in order for it to work. The four led strips have adhesive strips on them, so it's a simple case of peeling the backing off them and then sticking them to the back of your TV. It's probably sensible to have a think about where to place them so that they can connect together and that they can be connected to a USB socket. Once that's been done, you just need to connect them together using the three connector cables and pin connectors, making sure that none of the cables are visible and that all is tidy. You also need to ensure that the IR receiver for the remote control is visible.You might need to do a little troubleshooting, as if some of the led strip light are not connected properly they might not illuminate or will show up as a different colour to the rest of them, so you'll need to disconnect some of them, spin the connectors 180 degrees and plug them back in again. I had to do this a few times until all of the strips were illuminated in the same colour.>>>PRETTY COLOURS!Once everything is affixed and connected properly, you'll be able to play with the colours via the remote control. This allows you to to set the strips as a solid colour, set them to flip to a variety of different colours or set them to gently fade throughout the spectrum of colours. There are no instructions included with the kit, but it looks like you can program it to do different lighting patterns, etc - but I tend just set it to slowly fade different colours and leave it like that. The strips and bright and vibrant and light up the wall behind my TV beautifully.>>>SUMMING UPThis is a brilliant and very inexpensive led strip that does everything you'd ever want one of these to do. It's easy to set up too and can be customised to do all sorts of stuff. I'm really pleased with it!

I already have two sets of strips lights for my kitchen and my husbands game room and we love them!Due to our walls being inpenitrable to framing nails or a drill bit I decided to build a shelf instead of a recessed one for my perfumes and sprays and wanted to light it up as well. I wanted these since they were shorter than most and came apart in sections. I will say I had no issue with them sticking! Our other brands the sticky isn't so sticky, these stuck well! I even removed them to reposition and they stuck right back and are still perfectly fine!

Purchased for my gadget mad husband- I saw him looking art these- and in order to stop him looking for 6 weeks and researching and me having to suffer tremendously listening to him waffle on about different ones I just decided to buy them for him!And he says I actually made a good choice!!Packed away nicely on a plastic wheel- these unpacked easily- there were 4 separate pieces in which you could connect directly to each other or into the little extension pieces provided.A huge plus on these was the amount of options that you have on the remote control- the option of colours is pretty good- and with the choice to have them at all different settings is a bonus-flashing, fading- different light intensity- especially as when we have house parties husband likes to crack on the karaoke- so the lights will give added effect.The remote isn't super responsive- you do have to get quite close up to the receiver to get the lights to respond- but in our house thats a little benefit- as it will prevent the 3 year old messing with the light settings.When the lights were originally turned on- one strip was flashing a different colour- but a quick easy re-start soon sorted that out.The set didn't come with instructions- but I think that adds to my husbands fun as it means he can mess more and figure them out ;)

This is a very good value LED light strip which is easy to setup and operate. The LED light strip has been made well and will not fall apart easy. The light brightness is very good and colourful. The LED light strip has a remote controller which can be used to select different modes and colours. This LED light strip can be used for multiple purposes including around vanity tables, bed frames and much more. I intend to use these LED lighting strips to turn my bed frame into a remote controlled LED light bed frame. The quality of this LED lighting strips is very good and worth buying.Thanks for taking the time to read my review.
