I was looking for new hob covers for the top of my cooker, because I am always sitting hot oven trays down on top of the cooker after getting them out of the oven. I already had covers over each hob ring, but the heat from oven trays melted the paint on a couple of them. So I decided it was time to try something else.Now since I usually only sit oven trays on the back two hob rings, I decided that perhaps the double set of glass covers you can buy would be a bit overkill. So I purchased this single glass worktop saver to see if it would be suitable for my needs.I am very pleased I bought this item. It is a great size, is tough & durable, is bright & cheery, very Retro looking, and has saved me no amount of hassle with hot oven trays. It hasn't gotten melted, or marked - or at least you certainly can't see any marks or scratches on it - and it covers both the back two hobs of my cooker with ease, without slipping about. Plus it didn't cost an arm & a leg either.I would definitely recommend this item!

This surface protector works brilliantly, it has a gear surface area to use, very easy to clean and looks great.

Bought this to cover a burn mark on my worktop. Chose this one because it has Imperial/metric conversions. This saves me continually looking things up because I’ve never mastered metric!

Pleased with the appearance. Removed the feet underneath as it was inclined to tilt if pressed on. Very happy with the result.
