better than the bulb, but easily gets backed up.
I purchased this a little over a month ago after my son was hospitalized with complications from the flu. They had been suctioning him with their vacuum and I wanted to find a product similar to that for home. Hospital Staff suggested the Nose Frieda but I honestly couldn't stomach sucking onto something that was also attached to someones nose. I also feel like this would increase my risk of contracting a virus. After doing lots of research I decided to buy this one, it had lots of reviews mostly positive. I have Prime so it arrived within two days. The device I believe is made in China and has English and Chinese writing on the box. I opened the box and it had all the pieces as depicted in the photos. The instructions were on a single piece of paper in very tiny print, it looked as if the printer was out of ink, the letters were faint grey and impossible to read. I decided to write the seller and let them know as well as ask them where I purchase new filters. They apologized for the instructions but did not send me any new ones and told me the filters were standard. Not much help. Luckily I found the instructions online. None of the instructions ever discussed how to assemble the device, I had to rely on online photos to piece back together after disinfecting it. The main device kind of looks cheap there were many parts where the plastic housing did not meet. I was kind of bummed they didn't offer this in any other color than pink. The charging cord was also cheaply made, the housing for the micro charger part fell off first use, I was able to pinch both sides back together and fix it. First use the device backed up and boogers got into the suction port as well as spewed out the bottom of the reservoir. I immediately turned it off, cleaned, and dried the port out; meaning I couldn't use it for awhile. The device definitely works a million times better than the bulb they give you at the hospital and way more sanitary. The reservoir is not sufficient enough to handle lots of boogers so if your child is sick and really congested you will experience the snot pulling all the way into the suction port. I've also experienced the hole in the reservoir can easily become clogged if your child has thick mucous or harder mucous. It would have been nice to have some sort of storage container that it came with, the instructions say "feel free to pay attention to storage conditions" and it leads me to wonder if there is a specific way this should be stored. I stored it on a clean paper towel in a shelf or on the counter. In the month I've used it there have been two occasions where I have turned it on and everything but the suction was working, and for that reason I'm returning it.

It really works and it works well!
I’ve been having to suction our baby girl’s nose 2-3 times a day and sometimes in the middle of the night since her birth. She is three and a half months old now and cries when i use the bulb syringe. So far it was the only thing that worked. I tried the noseFrida but it didn’t work. Her boogers are very gooey so i have to use saline spray, wait about 5 minutes and then suction. With a bulb syringe (I tried different ones), it took many suctions to get the booger out far enough to then grab it. She had acid reflux which causes the very sticky frequent boogers that make it difficult for her to breath and thus difficult to eat and sleep. This nasal aspirator worked great and she didn’t cry. I’m so thankful. I couldn’t handle her sad tears and screaming anymore. It isn’t loud at all and it pulls her sticky boogers out very quickly and painlessly. So glad this product works effectively and doesn’t upset her. It is money well spent!

Leaks. Don’t waste your money.
Don’t waste your money... just get the nose frida or use a bulb. Not only was this slightly loud (scares my baby) but the snot it does suck up will deep into the other compartments if it’s not cleaned asap. I put my daughter down for a nap and came back to clean it and it seeped and that was unpleasant. Yes the seal rings were all placed correctly. I wish I would have saved the money. Couldn’t return since I purchased it so long ago when my wife was pregnant.

Good for super runny nose
4 stars instead of 5 simply because the suction is only good for runny nose...every now and then I see something I don’t won’t to dig out (gross I know) and this suction can’t really handle it. Only super runny noses. Ok otherwise.

Not my favorite.
Gentle suction, easy to charge. Ergonomic shape got some confused looks when guests saw this baby on my kitchen counter top. If its power suction you need, get the NoseFrida. Downfalls: this product does not have the capacity or the suction to handle toddler sized bogies. It gets clogged quickly, and snot leaks down into the motor compartment despite a little foam filter. My toddler put it in the washing machine, and that was all she wrote. It is not water proof.

Great unit, works well, easy to clean, but so hard to re-assemble afterwards.
The unit itself works pretty well - I find its easier to use than a nose frida snot sucker, though my baby dislikes both equally. But, that's OK it isn't the products fault. The unit is easy to take apart and clean as well. This unit WOULD get 5-stars, if it weren't for one fatal flaw, at least for me: re-assembly after cleaning. The O-ring design is awful. Basically, when I apply the top part, the O-rings slip and slide out of place, and ultimately I have to try and get the top on like 10-20 times before the O-rings are positioned in a way that they don't de-pressurize the thing (so that you can get suction). It's infuriating, honestly, that this isn't some kind of screw-on screw-off w/ O-ring situation. If the manufacturer is listening and has tips on getting the top on without the O-ring challenges, I am all ears.

Great for babies
I really like using this on my 19month old and 8 month old, they don't like me using the bulb in them and even though they don't like this either, it is quicker to get everything out. Overall I am satisfied with this product.

Fake reviews / Does not work properly! Leaks.
Do not fall for all the positive reviews. I read to many reviews all 5 stars around similar days. I figured it was fake but I still have it the benefit of the doubt. Ordered this product arrived today. Followed all guidelines and this product is poorly assembled. Mucous spills out. I would suggest to go with the Greico nasal aspirator. Tried to get a refund and this Chinese made product of course cannot be return. The manufacturer states it's hazardous material as an auto response when you click refund / return. Fake reviews people and bad product.
