66mm is 2.59843 inches. These are 2 3/8" long - inner length (i.e. center of strip, not from pointy to pointy), the points add another 1/8" to each end.

Q: Can it really be improved?

I've been using it for a while now, and I'm feeling pretty good.

Q: Can I spray it on the inside of my shoes?

I would do the same thing. It's okay.
