Great hat and perfect for my needs

As I was going to a limited, CovID restricted festival and the weather report was suggesting a lot of sun I thought it sensible to grab myself a hat. After a bit of searching I found this one, others suggested that they may be a bit small on me (I'm a round a 58-60cm head). This one did the job, fits nicely and looks pretty good too.Shame that the promised sun turned out to be constant and sometimes heavy rain, however this hat actually did a good job of keeping my head mostly dry. It soaked up a lot of the rain and was as good as new with a bit of an airing near a fire.

I liked the solid fabric, the good size brim.Its snug on my head, I measured my head its 58cm. if I had thick hair or lots of hair it wouldn't fit. As it happens I have really short hair so it wasn't an issue. It is snug and that makes it a bit warmer in the blazing sun. Its also is heavy material so its a bit warm. BUT no warmer than my baseball cap in similar heat.It didn't stop me wearing it and it keeps the sun off really well.Its not as cool as a straw hat. But ten times more tough which suits me.It will be fine too for autumn and early english winter.if i was to buy again i'd go for a slightly bigger size as i think it would be cooler.

hat ok, does the job, keeps the sun off, but - says sizing to fit 58-60 head, am a 58, hat was enormous, would suggest size about a 62-64, it went down completely over my ears, so caution re sizing, I spent some time undoing seams & restitching to bring it within a reasonable size to fit my head, not ideal but a means to an end, too much bother to return, plus the material, seems to be dusted in a dark dusty substance which rubs off leaving head, hands covered in black dust, other than that ok ?.

Great bush hat for the summer , really happy with it. I like being able to wear with the rim up or down on both sides.Also like the material, nice and soft. I bought 2 and am glad I did.

I was hoping for a light hat to protect my head from the sun. The description said this was lightweight but it's a really heavy denim kind of material. It's nowhere near being 60 cm either. I have other hats that are 59 cm and they're much looser than this. Not that it would be much use to me even if it did fit. There's no way I could wear this in the sun.Honestly it's seemingly impossible to find a lightweight hat for Summer on Amazon. I've bought loads recently and have been disappointed with them all. I officially give up.

Absolutely love this hat. I bought it as a work hat as I'm out side in the sun all day but I love it that much I'm using it as a daily hat. I feel like Steve Irwin or crocodile Dundee wearing this.Strong and well made hat. Will last years.

Der Hut macht einen ziemlich robusten Eindruck und ich freue mich schon, ihn im nächsten Urlaub einsetzen zu können. Die Farbe entspricht dem Bild. Das Material fühlt sich gut an und man kann ihn schön klein zusammenfalten, so dass man ihn auf Wanderungen auf jeden Fall immer dabei haben kann, auch wenn die Sonne nicht scheint und man ihn nicht tragen möchte. Was die Größeneinschätzung (etwas zu groß) betrifft, so muss ich sagen, dasss ich eher einen etwas kleineren Kopf habe (Umfang 53cm). Insofern kann ich, wenn ich es darauf anlege, den Hut soweit herunterziehen, dass ich mit dem Kopf im Hut oben anstoße. Das macht natürlich wenig Sinn, weil dann die Durchlüftung nicht mehr so klappen wird.Alles in allem kann ich den Hut zumindest von der Art, der Verarbeitung und der Passform her empfehlen. Ob er gegen Sonne so schützt wie angepriesen, muss ich in der Realität erst noch testen und dann in einem Update bewerten.
