Not just for classical guitars - but am nervous about the zip
I've uploaded 3 photos which illustrate how well a standard classical guitar and a parlour guitar fit inside the case. The latter is interesting because, unlike a classical guitar, the tuning keys protrude right and left of the headstock as on most acoustics, and there is a strap button (jackplug connector) at the bottom of the body. Neither cause any problem. The case lining is notched for accepting strap buttons so that makes the case very versatile if you have a small-bodied guitar. The case is light (4 3/4 lbs empty) and surprisingly rigid. When open, the cloth covering acts as a sort of 'wrap-over seal' where the case hinges. This can just about be seen clearly in one of the photos and fairly easily in two others - but black cases with black linings aren't that easy to photograph! The feature that worries me is the zip. It works well and seems fine, but it also seems to be of the size and type that's found on cheap-to-middling bags and suitcases. I had another case with a zip that looked a bit stronger and that failed when the handles ripped off and the small connectors broke. When I bought a Taylor GS Mini, that came in a case with a zip that looks like it will last until the end of the millenium - it's really industrial strength. The Kinsman zip seems very light (almost fragile) in comparison. For the money they could have done more in this area. I've uploaded a composite image which shows the 3 zips side by side.Hopefully it will be OK, but I'll be standing by with some straps with Velcro'd ends just in base I need to use belts!A good buy and ideal for what I want --- but not a great buy.

Light but sturdy - just the job.
Having recently acquired a new classical guitar, I found myself with more guitars than cases. As I already have a lockable hard case for journeys with the guitar, I just need something that was a bit sturdier than the cardbox box in which the guitar travelled from Spain. This case provides all the protection I need, and would be OK for holidays in the car, too. It's light, but commendably robust, and is a lot easier to move about than my hard case. The zipped pocket on the lid is not of any great use, being little more than a zip placed in the outer cordura fabric, but I didn't buy it for the pocket. The plush lining will be gentle with my instrument's finish, and the internal pocket is big enough for my electronic tuner and a capo, should I ever become some flamboyant, flamenco type. I chose this case because the spec most closely matched my requirements and I have not been disappointed. I will happily buy similar cases for my neglected Strat and bass guitar.

Good lightweight and sturdy
Good value guitar case. Lightweight, protective and great fit for my Taylor Grand Concert guitar, just needs a small diy adjustment to to give a little extra room for the volume and tone knobs. Only downside so far is back carry strap could be better padded, or even designed with more of a double shoulder back pack strap more like a Taylor GS Mini case.

Good and solid case that will protect your guitar
Good and solid case that will protect your guitar. The only downside is the carry strap which would make this a far better product if it was a 3 point carry arrangement so it sits square on your back rather than sliding off all the time.

Does the job but a little expensive.
This hard(ish)case is light and quite strong; it will definitely protect your guitar during travel and the advances of young children. However, I would say £45ish is a little expensive when you consider Hiscox cases start at £100. The construction is high denier synthetic cloth on the outside (like a cloth suitcase) over a moulded expanded polystyrene, which itself is coated with synthetic velvet. On the plus side, it provides much more protection than a padded firm case with very little extra weight.

Good for the price
This is a solid gutar case at a very good price. Nothing fancy, but it just do the job at a price I like.

Fine
The case is great and well made.It is much lighter than a wooden case so handy if you take your guitar on long distances.
