I was lucky enough to get this monitor half price in a Black Friday sale. I'm very pleased with it; the whole package is very high quality. It even comes in a nice box. The monitor is lightweight but robust and in a metal case; no creaky plastic! Even the control buttons are nice. I was a little surprised by the fold-out stand, as it's just a single prong at one side; I'd have expected it to be central, but it's OK where it is, as long as you've got somewhere convenient to prop it up and aren't expecting it to be at the centre of the screen area. The picture quality is very good, with a smooth, creamy, vibrant image and even lighting. This is a standard panel, not OLED, so blacks aren't true black and you see a bit of greyish lighting in large black areas, but as long as you're expecting that, the quality's excellent for the price. My only criticisms are that (a) there is no explanation of the on-screen menu controls, and although the menu is easy to use and mostly self-explanatory, a couple of settings are rather mysterious; and (b) the supplied USB power cable is decidedly on the short side; I needed to get another longer one to use the monitor where I wanted it. But these are trivial matters, and overall this is a great screen, especially for the price.UPDATE: I've found one further drawback since writing the above. Although I thought I'd tested the monitor with a computer outputting a 50Hz signal, when I tried it again with another machine outputting 50Hz, I found that its 50Hz support is borderline. In other words: don't buy this screen if you require 50Hz support. Certainly, the situation could be worse; some monitors display absolutely nothing with a 50Hz signal. This one does show a picture. However, it's a highly unstable and corrupted picture that isn't really usable for any length of time – but at least you're not left completely blind. As noted, I'm sure I tried both 50Hz and 60Hz output successfully on the first machine, and it worked fine – but subsequently, with another couple of machines, 50Hz most definitely didn't work satisfactorily, so beware of that if you need 50Hz support. But for most people, 60Hz will be all they need, and for that it's absolutely great. Indeed, this is a good value and highly physically attractive monitor, and overall I'd recommend it strongly.
