been a blessing!
Had to order xxl after ordering xl for my 11 month old Rottweiler, she weighs around 40kg and waist measures 26 inches, i measured from the top of her tail to her waist and this is 9 inches, the xl did fit but was very snug and as all us women know when we'r going through the monthly mayhem the last thing we want is something snug or tight around our bellies so ordered the next size up xxl and these fit great with plenty of room for next years heat. I just added panty liners to fit inside them and it's been a godsend, she seems quite relaxed in them , if a little confused to begin with (bless her..) being her first heat she's a bit freaked out but does seem happier when wearing the diaper, we just remove it at the door as we go out into the garden and then replace with fresh liners on the way back in. I do give her a breather from it now and then and she always cleans herself up at these times so all in all been a positive experience using these and i'd definitely recommend. (the second pic is of the xl and a little snug on her but the first pic are xxl, as you can see she is totally comfy in them.) would recommend going up a size, the velcro is strong and wide and goes right the way across the back part so there's plenty of room to adjust either tighter or looser.

Soft and (apparently) comfortable
Purchased for my mature (18 years old) dog who is suffering deep sleep incontinance. She usually doesn't like things around her backside, but thought I would try these to save my washing of her bed so frequently. The pants are so easy to put on and soft she really doesn't mind them, happily wearing continually while around the house, and even tolerating them to be taken off/ put on when she goes outside. Easy to hand wash, and dry overnight on a radiator, or air dry in two days in cool conditions. Easily used with basic incontinant pads from the supermarket (rather than specific pet ones). She has taken to them so well have ordered more. Have to add they are also very smart looking.

Would not recommend
Ordered the XXL for my 36kg Sheprador to get us through her second (and hopefully final) season. The fit is pretty good over all. The black pants stay in place, and don't slip off, or cut in anywhere. The tail hole placement is a little off which pushes her tail down a little at the base (which she doesn't like) thought the tail hole size is pretty generous, accommodating her thick tail quite well, aside from the forgoing. The black pants are soft and pliable, however the fabric is more like a poly-cotton not 100% cotton. They wash well, dry quickly and the velcro is holding up. The camo pants on the other hand are not cotton at all, the outer is a completely different fabric entirely, very synthetic with a plastic feel, more like a waterproof. So much so, I questioned whether I had read the product info incorrectly, missing the part where it says the camo pair should be worn over the black pair. They're definitely not meant to be worn like that, we tried it and it was a) almost impossible to make the camo pair fit over the black pair, and b) intolerably uncomfortable for my dog. Even on their own she can't stand the camo pair because they crinkle and rustle, making a noise every time she moves. Also because of the fabric they slip and do not stay in place, even though they're secured in the exact same way as the black pair.We needed to use sanitary towels to absorb her blood loss, as the pants aren't anywhere near absorbent enough on their own, and without a waterproof lining in that area the blood leaks through. With a pad in place we had no leakage at all and the pants did hold it in the right place reasonably well.Over all a disappointing experience, and I don't feel I can recommend them on the strength of our experience. We've had more success with size 16-18 women's pants, lined with sanitary towels, and secured in place with a couple of nappy pins.

Good for Bitches on heat
Excellent idea.Got this for my German Shepherd bitch to stop my male shepherd creating unwanted puppies while I'm sleeping at night.I added dog nappy pads inside for hygiene reasons while she's in season catches any discharge while indoors.Stays on without problem with hole for your dogs tail.Make sure you get the correct size by measuring your dogs waist correctly and it will stay on.Would recommend for Bitches in heat.

Fantastic simple Help at mucky time.
Great for Season time. I popped in Ladies disposable thin self stick Tesco value liners so kept it cleaner so needed less washing. Used on lean & lanky 11 mth Border Collie. At night used Ladies thicker value budget San towel. Used Antimate spray too when we were out too.

Second choice pants
I bought this product twice for a GSD the first time I bought large size and they were way too small so I bought the extra large and they are very large but rather than send back again I just shortened (hand tacked) the side bits for a better fit. I think if I was inclined and my girl wasn't coming to the end of her season I would have added an elasticated piece for a more comfortable fit for her. The top velcro could also be longer to stablize the pants more. The tail hole was a good size. I also found that there was room for a human panty liner inside (much cheaper than the dog pads alternative) The fabric was strong and ?water/fluid resistant may get softer and more flexible with washing. Probably wouldn't buy again, preferred the MIKKI hygiene pants as less bulky, perhaps more fiddly to get on but these were a good second choice.

Largest size is tiny
I can only give 1 star due to the sizing. I won't be cleaning or using them so not exactly value for money. The largest size is tiny on my small (38kg) Rottweiler. The label says it's the right size - unless the wrong sized label was accidentally put onto a size that would probably suit a spaniel, not a medium - large breed. The pants are far too short in the back, so the leg straps don't come around the stifle in front of the leg, but sit accross the leg, meaning the pants literally just fall off as the dog is walking. I am disabled so faffing about returning them was not an option. I had to cut a tail hole in some old (human) lady incontinence pants which look awful but actuallywork.
