Mudpuddle Farm: Six Animal Adventures

I brought this book as a gift for my granddaughter.It was perfect and she has enjoyed reading it. 📚

Fed up of putting the telly on when my granddaughter was with me after school (the weather wasn’t good enough to play out) I sat and read this book to her. She helped select it from all the books suitable for her age group.We had great fun reading it, and, as her reading skills are developing, she was joining in reading too.Fabulous Nana memories in the making

Great for little children who love animals. Bought this for my boy aged 5 to encourage him to read the speech bubbles and I read the book. His reading is slow for his age so I'm hoping when he is more fluent at reading he can go back and read the book himself. Can't rate this highly enough for keeping his interest in books.

Gave this book away as a birthday present. Child loved it. I might buy another copy for a different child as it was well received. I only read a small part of it as I was not familiar with it. It's a typical Morpurgo book - he's an excellent writer!

A definite family favourite in our house.This has been read to and by both my daughter and son many times. It's one of the first chapter books they could read to themselves and my son in particular has come back to it again and again. Highly recommended for children aged 5 - 7.

Great fun for younger independent readers. My son who is 7 can manage this on his won and the characters are joyful. We love it. If you are worried that like some murpurgo books this could have be a bit gloomy don't worry not like that at all. Great to read to younger kids too.

Looks fun so I hope my granddaughter will enjoy it.

My seven year old Grand Daughter thought this a really great book. She found each of the stories fun to read, and although it is quite a big book she finished it over the Christmas period, and I am sure she will read this author again. A really good buy.
