Works great
Inherited a Whirlpool refrigerator when we moved into a condo. The water that came out of the dispenser was truly awful. I got these filters and replaced the old one, which from the look of it was the original and had never been replaced. Ran a couple of gallons through it and it was fresh and clean. Getting down to get the old one out was a chore, but not the fault of the filter. Once it was out the replacement went in smoothly.

Install isn’t really clear but it works fine
It’s hard to know if it is in correctly... but the water comes through and is tasting fine so I am supposing I installed it. There is just no click or anything to tell if it is placed right, o just tightened it to the right as the directions stated to do.

Affordable replacement of grossly over-priced Sears part
The ONLY thing that isn't perfect is that when installed, the knob on the base of the filter doesn't line up exactly like the original Sears filter. For one-tenth the price, I can certainly live with that.

Works great
Seems to work the same as a name brand filter for way less. They take a little more elbow grease to install than name brad, but I find a pair of pliers can get me there easily enough.

was working good and everything on my kenmore fridge until i decide to have a cup of water filtered from the fridge it started to leak as i was getting water
