If I were you learn ways how to not let the cake stick to the springform, like parchment paper. Using thise methods would help you achieve baking with this item like any other.3.The latchI have no problem with it since the first time baking with it. But sometimes that it is so secure and fastened it is hard to remove it when hot using my thick oven mittens. But good to know that the cake mix won't drip while baking.

The pans are not easy to clean due to the product getting stuck in the crack for the bottom part. And the bottom part is flacking off. But I make the best of it. Use these for cheesecakes

These do leak, I wrapped tin foil around the outside to be safe. It worked.

I bought the set for my grandson's birthday. He likes to bake and was very pleased with the present.

The largest pan does not fit in all 6 qt instant pots.

These are best cake pans. Easy release so cakes dont stick.
