Absolutely refreshing
Pros:Scent is amazing, very light and naturalHold is definitely high, but pliable and responsiveGreat in both towel-dried and blow dried hairApplies very easily and washes out about 90% with just water (just how i like it, i don’t like when products completely fall apart when your hair gets a little damp or sweaty)Lots of product for the price and high quality ingredients (I love Shear Revival and the effort they put in)Works great for all hair types; i have one of the most difficult to manage hair types you can possibly have and this thing gives tons of controlFeels super light and smooth in the hair (amazing for my thick course frizzy hair)Cons:Depending on your hair length and thickness, this might not be enough hold for you. if you want a natural hairstyle that you can run your hands through then it’s definitely perfect, but if you’re looking for something clean cut it’ll only really be good for you if you have short to medium length hair.

The Ultimate Styling Product for Your Hair!
I recently tried Shear Revival Northern Lights Matte Paste, and it has made all the difference in my hair styling routine. This product is perfect for anyone who wants a high-quality styling product that provides a natural, matte finish. The texture of the paste is smooth and easy to apply, and it provides a great hold that lasts all day. The paste added volume to my hair and helped me to achieve my desired style without any effort. One of the things I love most about this paste is that it's made with all-natural ingredients. This paste is the perfect option for anyone who wants a styling product that is free of harmful chemicals and dyes. Another great thing about this paste is its versatility. It works well for all hair types, whether you have thick or thin hair, and it's great for achieving a variety of styles. Even my curly hair received a more defined look and added texture after applying the paste. Overall, I would highly recommend Shear Revival Northern Lights Matte Paste to anyone looking for a high-quality styling product that provides a natural, matte finish. It's a great value for a product that is made with natural ingredients, works for all hair types, and keeps your hair looking and feeling great all day.

Like the hold but some occasional grains?
About every other time I use the product, I find a grain in it that feels almost like a piece of sand or something that won't dissolve if I rub it into my hands, which is annoying.I like the feel, smell, texture is alright, and the hold, but the grains I find, I've basically started to put product in my hair and locate the single grain almost every time and put it off to the side, as not to put it in my hair only to have this single speck stand out against my dark hair.If they could solve for that, I'd give this 5 stars as it seems to do better on my hair than some other hair products in terms of my head/scalp sensitivity. There's some products out there that my head seems to itch more, or those other products seem more artificial, whereas this one seems to be nicer to my head and I can wear it more on a regular basis, whereas the other ones required me to take a break for a while.

Excellent product- great hold, non-greasy, natural feel
I love this product, and I've been searching for a long time. I've tried paul mitchell, hanz de fuko, jack henry, and lots of other top tier brands, and none compare to Shear Revival. I have fine to medium hair, and this product offers solid hold with a natural, matte look. It will shift throughout the day, particularly since it is formulated with natural botanical ingredients, but what I love is that you can restyle it at any time and it will regain hold and style. With other products, like Paul Mitchell's clay, it is so thick and sticky that you can barely style your hair in the first place. I've also found that if I don't shower immediately the day after, I can throw a little more product in and restyle my hair without having to rinse it, which is a big plus. I'll sometimes have some morning meetings before getting a workout it, and it's nice to be able to quickly get my hair looking presentable without having to rinse, dry, restyle, etc. The classy glass jar doesn't hurt either. If you're on the fence, I'd say this product is worth giving a shot!

A little too overhyped?
Packaging of the product is great. Comes in a class jar, fits nicely in the palm to be able to scoop out. Label is nice and branding is nice. It's nice to leave out on the shelf. The actual product did not impress me much. I think ordering from Amazon isn't the best idea, I think my seller had it on the shelf too long.Upon opening the jar, the smell was fantastic. Not overpowering and the scent only lasts a couple of hours in the hair after applying.Scooping it out takes a while. Maybe because I live in colder weather and my bathroom is about 65 degrees, but even after working the paste and warming it up, it's still difficult to scoop. Again, maybe it's because it's an old product.I'm able to soften it up, work it between my palms and get a waxy/paste texture.Applying to my hair isn't as smooth as most people mention. My hair is between medium and thick, and slightly wavy. While it does hold REALLY well, it gives a really oily feel. Yes, I can run my hands through my hair, but leaves my hands feeling a oily, which is strange because it's water based. This does not wash out of my hair very easily. I can feel the product when I shower. I don't like washing my hair every day, And figure some buildup is ok.This product builds up quick. If I don't wash my hair for 2 days while using this product, my hair gets really greasy and weighed down.I'm not overusing the product, like maybe a dime side scoop at most. Maybe it's the soft water where I live that's not stripping away the paste very well, maybe it's the product being a little bit older.Either way, when I do get a good soft scoop out of the jar, it still doesn't seem to impress me.
