Workedin a 330Ci Convertible perfectly
Ordered this product as an alternative to a similar item ordered from a different vendor that didn't work. 10 min installation and it worked perfectly! Pay attention to the arrow where it plugs into the radio for proper connection.

Worked for me!
I used this AUX input for my 2004 BMW E46 M3 and it worked perfectly! These seem to be hit or miss, I got lucky with mine and it worked perfectly! I went ahead and plugged in a Bluetooth aux adapter, I can see over time with the cable moving when plugged in itโll eventually break. Very cheap wire but itโll hold me over until I get a head unit.

Does not work
The product just doesn't work. Tried on various cars and radios and it just simply doesn't work at all, isn't recognized by any of the radios plugged into

Plug and play with 2004 BMW 325i E46
I pulled the audio unit out, and plugged this in the back. I routed the cable down into the ash tray, and drilled a hole to mount the headphone jack. Works perfect.

Low quality
Low quality. Music would cut off after a couple of days of use due to the wire easily bending and breaking internally.

Works in a 2004 BMW 325i with the Harman Kardon Business deck.
This is a good quality cable and feel solid.Plugged the cable in the back with the arrow on "top" and everything worked just like it should.I believe the source has to be playing first in order for the AUX option to be available. The only "issue" is the plug isn't held in by the factory BMW radio harness, so you don't even need to unplug anything as you can push the connector through the back. The volume was fairly low compared to the CD and Radio, but after some tinkering I found there is a setting for the AUX level in the configuration menu. Just make sure the AUX is selected first before you go into the settings.

Feels a little cheap seems intermittent.
I bought this product with the hopes of keeping my original stereo... Firstly, ensure the unit is 2003 or newer or it wont work. Sadly after install, (ensure the arrow is at the top) the unit only worked a couple of times. Now it doesnt switch to aux anymore... The cable seemed a bit lose in the plug and I suspect it may have come detached. I have decided to go with an FM transmitter, to avoid any dissappointment.

Waste of money
Do not buy this cable. As I received the cable it was lose at the connector. Plugged it in and as you guess it didnโt work. Waist of money.
