Great Product
These are great, perhaps the best I have ever used. I ordered these along with some micro (1.8mm) guyline cord to use on my lightweight backpacking tent. While I have not had a chance to put them on my tent, I have experimented with them and they function wonderfully. I am very happy with the performance. This is definitely a 5 star product, however I ordered a pack of ten but received only eight—I am missing two. What’s up with that?Update:Well that was fast. Zephyr responded to me with the following,"We apologize for missing a couple line locks in your shipment. Moving forward, we will need to pay a bit closer attention to package quantities before shipping. We are sending you a free set of 10 as a customer courtesy. Your order will be shipping tomorrow, and will be delivered in 2-4 business days. Tracking will be emailed to you through Amazon's usual channel."I happily changed my 3 star rating to a 5.Thank you

Make your own lightweight, refelective guylines
Use these and 1.8 mm cord to make excellent lightweight, reflective guylines. Most tents come with 4 guylines and you usually need 5-7 minimum. I purchased these and 20 m of Paracord Planet 1.8 mm reflective guyline cord (go with a bright color- orange, yellow so it is visable in the day also) and cut into 6 ft 5 in segments to make ten cords ( to make 8 just cut cord in half 3 times). I use a lighter outside (fumes, hot melted plastic until it hardens) to melt the cut, frayed cord into a hard end.Besides replacing my guylines, I always replace a new tent"s stakes with MSR mini Groundhogs for the body and Groundhogs for the lines.Photo 1- of 5 homemade guylines and 9 stakes I carry with my Marmot Tungsten 1 person tent.Photo 2- Marmot Tungsten 1p with homemade reflective guylines (made with zephyrs) attached.

For guying out tents and tarps
I use these with 2mm orange cord for my guylines. I keep them attached to the stakes and then just clip them on with carabiners. I haven't tried them in any heavy winds, but they seem to hold firm enough overnight.

Works great for my needs.
I bought the Line Locks because I start travel very light. And I'm doing lots of adjustments for all gears I have. I use a couple of that Locks with my hammock rain fly. Only one thing I have done differently than you can see at the product picture. I made a small permanent loop for stake and I use the Line Lock at the side of rain fly.

Best lightest adjuster for thin dyneema
These things are awesome I couldn't find anything else to use on my hammock tarp guylines. I wanted use really thin dyneema type line. Which doesn't work well with knots. But this works great with line slightly under 1mm as I measured and they weigh almost nothing. This gives me the lightest guylines without resorting to bringing fishing line. I'm going to order some more to tie up and hand out to people who don't know how to tie knots or bring line on my next camping trip.
