I have used this camera for around a month or so and has performed far better than more premium cameras like transend. I haven't checked the image clarity yet will report back later.

Update: After returning this product to Amazon for a refund and rating it 1-star, I did receive e-mail communications from the seller attempting to understand the concern I had and trying to make a sincere effort to resolve it. Unfortunately I had already returned it. But because of my experience with it while connecting it to my computer -- great image clarity, dynamic range in bright and low light, and wide range of features, I think it only fair to revise my rating to 3 stars. As I said earlier, if it had not been for the glitch in power up from the car, I'd have given it five stars.======================================================================================================After connecting this dash cam to my computer via a mini USB cable, everything appeared to work normally. The starting screen allowed me to select whether I wanted it to do file transfers or operate it as a dash cam etc. All functions described in the very tiny print user manual behaved as expected and image quality and dynamic range appeared to be very good. The first problem I had was using the WiFi with my Android phone. While I successfully paired the phone and Kenuo, the AIT Smart CAM app suggested in the manual would would not recognize the dash cam. However I found another app called Car_DVR that did work.After all of this initial testing using the 64GB SanDisk Ultra micro I bought specifically for it, I discovered that when I attached the supplied 12V car power cord with the dash cam off, it did power up as expected, but instead of starting to record the camera started working but all of the buttons locked up with the menu choices showing at the bottom of the display. None of the menu buttons changed this and no matter how long I would hold the power-on button on the side it, it remained on and locked up. This continued even when I disconnect the power cord. The unit remained frozen like this until the internal battery was depleted, approximately one hour.It then worked fine again with my computer, but locked up again without recording with the supplied power cord. So I then decided to try using the same USB cable I was using with my computer but with it plugged into my cell phone charger. Same result -- locked up on the menu start up screen with ALL buttons ineffective including the power button.So thinking this could be a firmware issue with my copy, I looked for a Kenuo website to see if there was a download or upgrade. No Kenuo website found.I am fortunate I did not attach it to my windshield before trying it in the car -- it would have been difficult to detach the adhesive holder. My only option is to send it back for a refund. Maybe I can use my 64GB micro card with another dash cam, but I think I'll look one from a company with at least some website support including firmware upgrades.Too bad because had it worked, I would have rated it five stars.

UPDATE: Unit is now totally frozen. It powers on but will not respond to any buttons. I haven't checked to see if it's recording however with display jot indicating recording I don't trust it.---------------------------------------The wifi mode does not work. It takes forever before it creates it's own network, then won't link to the app correctly.The camera dings every minute to 2 minutes, sometimes within 10 seconds. Instructions suck so unable to determine if it's a setting issue, positioning issue, or something else. Went to play with the settings to see if I could get rid of it, and the camera is frozen up. Left it unplugged so will try turning it on later to see if it works.

Updated review:Seller is very cooperative and he fix the problem so fast. They replaced the defective dash cam and delivered it to my house in 3 days. Thanks kenuo!!!———————————————————————-I just got my dash cam today. When i open the box it looks like the item is used already as you can see on the picture. I purchased a sandisk memory card but this dash cam doesn’t ready the memory card.

The camera arrived last week. The installation is straight forward. The camera's image quality is fantastic. It is able to catch a wide range of view in front of my car. For a new driver like me, I feel a bit more confident to drive around with this dash camera installed. So far, no issues came up at all and I am very satisfied with this product.

Easy to install, lots of youtube videos to help with this if needed! Easy to use, great picture quality. Small enough to hide behind rear view mirror so doesn’t obstruct view when driving.
