Continuum Aquatics BacterClean-M - Cleaning Microbial Culture for Reef and Marine Aquariums, 500ML (QBCM500)

The inevitable "new tank algae" has occurred for me. But like I handled it last time, I used Bacter Clean-M. This works slowly but it does not harm my marine fish or corals. This is the only algae treatment I feel safe using. I highly recommend.

I'd give it 6 stars if I could. I had been battling hair algae for about 3 months. This stuff knocked it out in 2-3 weeks. It did take about 2 weeks to get going but once it did the hair algae was wiped out. It started by taking out some other algae that I believe was feeding the hair algae. Once the other algae was gone then the hair algae started disappearing. I also only have to clean my glass once a week now. I love this stuff. No ill affects on any of my corals, fish, or inverts.

It will work, just got to give it time. I used it for a month before I started seeing effects.

It wasn't very impressed with this at first it didn't seem like it was doing much I was just broadcasting it in the water everyday. I did do a water change after a week or two like it asks. Then I tried using a skinny turkey baster and Blasting the rocks with it I did that a few times. Then I kind of forgot about it for a while but after some time passed probably at least a month I noticed there's hardly any hair LG anywhere anymore so I think it did a really great job it just takes some time.

I am absolutely asonished!!! GHA sucks... Weekly water changes, yet still leaking nutients, probably leaking from my live rock. Spreads fast... If you are struggling yet doing proper maintenance, this is definitely something you should try. 30 ml first day then 5 ml everyday after. Only 3 days in and I see its making progress. I use a turkey baster to clean loosen detritus from the rockwork.. will never again use anything except RO water. Period. So should you.

Continuum products have been great for me. However, this one requires a pretty high dosage and when I am trying to keep my ppm down for the shrimp adding large quantities of chemicals ruins that. For me I can’t use this product for that reason.

This stuff is amazing!! It saved my fish tank. It did not harm my fish or my coral. I vacuumed hair alge right up.

I have green turf algae. Very hard to get rid of it. This product when applied directly to the root helps loose in up from the rocks. Do not expect to be easy. Be patient a keep pulling it up.

I had bubble algae on my live rock. It came off easily after two days or treatment. I turned off my protein skimmer for an hour to allow the product distribute itself after each treatment. Delivery was quoted as being between 5 and 10 says after I placed my order which was annoying but the product arrived after 3 days which was good for a non Prime product. My local marine aquarist was interested in the product stating that they had to mix two more expensive products together to achieve the same effect

Was doubtful it would have any effect ... take it back worked well, happy to use again.

I gave a try to this product and I am telling you it is simply great, after 3 weeks all GHA are dying and easy to vacuum during water changes. Brilliant service provided during shipping, keep going like this, happy customer and I will buy it again soon.
