Good product at a great price.Pros:1. The kit comes with everything you need to convert a bottle to a lamp.2. The price is right.Cons:The bad part is that the inserts for the bottle may, or may not fit your bottle exactly right; however, for an insert that is just a tad large, you can, with a sharp blade trim the inserts. Then, with a bit of electrical tape or plumbing tape you can enlarge one that is just a bit small.I looked at several of these kits and found that they all had the fit problem - this one was the least expensive of the well made kits, so this is the one I got. Now several months later, it still works great.

Product comes with 3 adapters. None work for my application and I will have to trim one of them and hopefully get it to work. The directions on the back are not very good. Some pieces in the directions are not in the package and don't say not included as some options do. I suppose for the price it will work well enough.

Had to replace a lighting fixture on my table lamp in my bedroom. It was about 30 yrs old and the toggle quit working and the cord was getting brittle. Had the job done in about 15 minutes from start to finish. Works great now.

This was purchased so that I could turn an old Express Lane sign from a closed Target, eight feet of pvc, and a bunch of pvc connectors into a lamp. I am confident in my ability to do wiring, so this was not a big deal. The item comes with three sizes of fittings for the hole into which you insert the light bulb housing and this came in handy as I could choose the size of the pvc, this would go for the size of the drill holes as well for a piece of woodworking or pottery. It is pretty foolproof even for those who lack experience with electrical work as the instructions are pretty clear.

Used this to make a light out of a Maker's Mark bourbon bottle for a friend. After he stopped laughing, he told me it was the best lamp in his house now.Easy to put together, although the collars that fit inside your bottle might have to be adjusted to fit correctly. I wound electrical tape around one of them to make a more snug fit.

I love these kits because they're very easy to assemble. If you need to make a lamp quickly (and inexpensively), these are the ticket. The three "plugs" that go into the candle stick are very tough and do not always fit, but 10 minutes with some sand paper and elbow grease takes care of that. These are a good deal.

I now own a hand painted lamp that everyone wants. The kit had what I needed to make my liquor bottle lamp. The lamp sets proudly on my bar and has become a wonderful conversation peice.I will be buying more kits.

This is a handy kit for rewiring lamps yourself, the one thing that I think should be improved is the wire connection. There are much better designs on the market were wires are connected more securely. My unit has already arched twice and I have refitted the wire every-time, hope it will be the last time now.It is easy to install and fitted our bedside lamps perfectly.

I LIKE IT BUT I CHANGED THE SOCKET WITH A KINGSO E26/E27 CHROME SOCKET, IT GIVE A MORE SPLID LOOK.THE A C CORD CAME STRIPPED AND ALL READY TO BE CONNECTED, I WAS REALLY VERY GLAD FOR THAT.

This product works great. I used it to turn a Jack Daniels bottle into a lamp. My only problem was that there is no harp-piece for a lamp shade. It is an easy fix, of course. Otherwise this is a fantastic item!

It arrived quickly and was as advertised. I was able to fix a favorite lamp easily and affordably.
