OTOOLWORLD Ceramic Crucible Bowl Dish Cup Furnace Melting Casting Refining Gold Silver (5000g)
M**.
Has held up to multiple uses, season / glaze it before use.
I found out quite a while ago to season, or glaze a new crucible before use. There are many videos on the internet to show this process. The first cup has worked perfectly many times, no complaints, haven't used the second one yet but would expect the same. Heat slowly for best success.

Works as expected
Perfect for melting smaller amounts if precious metals. Make sure you glaze it before using.

the product dimension are incorrect for the amount of grams capacity
the 10,000g quartz ceramic crucible bowls dimensions are for the 2,500g...which if you calculate the grams to lbs in the bowl it was suppose to fit 22 .04lbs for 10,000g bowl and the 2,500g bowl was to fit 5.51 lbs. capacity of grains so the dimensions are wrong to hold 10,000 which the bowl that was sent only can hold 5.10 lbs of gold grains that practically over exceeding the bowl dimension 9x8x5inches does not meet the bare minimum standards of hold or fitting 10,000g that will equal to 22.04lbs capacity something wrong with tge dimension are to small sending the bowls...actual dimensions for 10,000g are 22x11x8 inches not 9x8x5 inches diamond gold smelting ore and hemotite gold smelting ore

Useless to me
Okay when I ordered this it said it was 3.75 in , that is 3 and 3/4 in what I received was 2 in.. not even quite to inches totally worthless to me unusable to me.... so I guess it's not worth my time to even send it back I'll just throw it in the garbage .don't buy this unless you're looking for something super tiny.....

**READ DIMENSONS IN DESCRIPTION**
Looks to be of good quality.. Please make sure you READ DIMENSIONS this 100g is tiny. Seller clearly states dimensions one just needs to be smart enough to read, maybe next time i will be.

Very poor quality
Crucible arrived with large malformities and tall sharp edges that needed to be filed down before use. Last only a few firings and it cracked in half. Not good quality at all, waste of money.

What I wanted when I wanted it.
Worked great for melting small amounts of Gold. I took the advice of other reviews and preglazed crucible before using.

Holds up to multiple heat/cool cycles
Using to heat treat glass to 600-700C in a box furnace. I pull the Crucible out at that temp, dump the glass, and set the crucible on a stainless plate with no issues thus far.
