I have had a real Russian Army Ushanka for 30+ years. They last forever and are incredibly warn. I bought this because I wanted something new. I am NOT disappointed. It's SOFT and warm. Fit is perfect and comfortable to wear.

The sizing was perfect based on the fitting chart; whether the ear flaps are up or down. I used to wear this style of hat when I was young. Decided to get one with real fur & it is perfect & warm. Best of all it doesn’t make my head sweat like a stocking cap!

I have been looking for something like this for a while and it's a great price too.

Had to go to Chicago in January and needed a hat to keep my head warm.

The craft is beautiful and you get your moneys worth if it was $50 honestly I'd pay $70 if it had a custom style but this ain't my complaint. The ear cover is a lot shorter than I expected, for a XL it's very disappointing. Yes I could've got 2-3 extra cm but ask any woman and they'll tell you the same, it's disappointing. It doesn't make me regret buying it, I still absolutely love the ushanka.

Being a bald guy I needed warmth for my melon. I tried the cheap alternative trapper hats to find I had to wear a toque under it and toques make my forehead itchy (don't ask, I dunno why). So that was a no go.Then I discovered this beauty! Worth the price! So far I've only had -19 weather to test it out and it is toasty warm. Not a shred of cold gets in. I can imagine even at -30 that this puppy will stay toasty the whole time.Great craftsmanship and very comfortable. It's so good I want to buy more in different colors, even if it makes no sense!So weather you have hair or not, you will not regret this purchase!
