I purchased this because we were out of the brand we normally use. The first time it was a little bland so the next batch I substituted milk for the water, added an egg, 1/4 C of sugar and an extra handful of chocolate chips. They were much better. We might just have a bigger sweet tooth than most but you can adjust the ingredients easily for however sweet you prefer it. Also we made waffles instead of pancakes.

It tastes way better than I expected. Very fluffy and soft! I also like that it is not too sweet so I can pair it with my favorite maple syrup.
